The wildly funny author of Crystalis, the Lovable Warlock was generous enough to stop by BRK and leave us with some words so concise and adroit that they deserve their own mini-post:

“Hunters as a group seem to have a greater skill disparity than any other class in WoW. A poor hunter is probably the single worst teammate you could have, whereas an excellent hunter is one of the best.”

There ya go fellas, don’t say I didn’t warn you. I’m kinda disappointed he didn’t make an educated guess where he thinks the most hunters would be classified…

Now then, I gotta inspect the blog for anything that Warlock might have left behind. Don’t need anything from the Demon Dimension hiding under the sofa, ya know what I’m saying?

    I would say about 60% of the hunters on my server are “poor” hunters imo.

    I would probably classify myself as mediocre, not that great, due to my lack of experiances in 5 mans. The last run I did was Zul Furrak at 50ish. I think if I ran strat and scholo with a good group, and had to pull, and made it without a wipe, and did that several times to practice, then only would I consider myself “good”.

    It all ties down with how much experiance a person has, how much knowledge they have about their class, and of course how they know to play their class. With more experiance, and more training could one become better.

    Sure someone is level 70. But you put them into a group running an instance and they have no clue how to heal, aggro management, CC or pull, they dont know thier class. Anyone could solo/farm/grind their way to 70 without a any knowledge about how to play their class decently. (all IMHO)

    No objection, technically it’s Blizzard’s pic anyway. Of course my blog layout is broken right now. =P

    As for the category most hunters belong in, well, I don’t team with them. At all. Ever. There’s an indication of how bad the hunter situation is on my server. =)

    I have no probs grouping with hunters..but then again i get to group with The Big Red Kitty and the other outsatnding hunters in my guild…bah who am i trying to kid..i ONLY group with the hunters in my guild cuz im SPOILED!
