‘Twas my pleasure, good sir. :)

And thank you for all the kind words! ;)

I’m just glad I was able to help. That’s why I got into web programming to begin with.

And it’s not like it was a completely selfless act… I plan to use the thing quite a bit myself, lol! :P

First thing I’m going to do is use it to see what eliminating Bite 9 from BRKs repitoire will give me.

While I’m grinding, every fight lasts no more than 10 seconds, so Bite only procs once. 29 training points for 120 damage every fight?

Yeah. While I was coding it, I was thinking “Pasha has claw, but not bite…. maybe I should switch?”

The reason he has one and not the other, is because he also uses Prowl, and I’m not sure if I should ditch Prowl altogether (I do have him use it occassionally….) and add in Bite (to give me Growl, Claw and Bite) and just pick up another cat to give Prowl to…. or what? Lol

I guess it just depends on how quickly Claw and Bite proc. If Claw procs faster, then I’ll have to figure out how much DPS he’s doing with Claw, versus how much DPS he could be doing with Bite as it procs.

Or, I could nix that whole plan, give Prowl the boot (or rather, give it to another cat), and give Pasha both Bite and Claw and turn him into a lean-mean mob-eating machine.

I suppose that probably makes the most sense, considering how often I (don’t) use Prowl….

    Man… I can be a bonehead sometimes, rofl! :P

Bite has a 10 second cooldown.
Claw has a 1.5 second cooldown and is dependent on the global cooldown.

In my previous post about Claw vs. Bite, I found that it the overwhelming factors for damage from these are battle time and focus regeneration. Long battles with ample Focus generation means Bite does more than Claw, otherwise Claw is better.

Prowl is fun in PvP, but otherwise I don’t see a use for it. Now I’m a dwarf, so many you night elves has a different opinion.

Being able to Shadowmeld has definitely had an impact on my choice to keep Prowl as long as I have. If I couldn’t SM, I probably wouldn’t care in the least if my pet could stealth or not.

I sorta thought there was some reason why I had Claw and not Bite, but I couldn’t think what it might be to save my life, so I’d chalked it up to a big ol’ blonde moment and assumed I’d just been a dope this whole time, not having Bite, lol.

Looks like maybe there was a method to my madness after all. (Then again, maybe not, and I just got lucky, lol. Who knows?!) :P
