Feez Bwoneez Aw Dewicous
Jezrael of Feathermoon just totally bribed BRK with brownies for a talent and gear review. OMG, if she’s a redhead too, the glorious and amazonian Mrs Damh is gonna absolutely freak out all over BRK’s head until his ears reverberate with the sounds of ,”I hate your game!”
But don’t let that stop you; BRK is made of stern stuff. A little Mrs Damh ear-boxing, BRK can take. Brownies rock.
Now then, let’s look at what we’re reviewing, shall we:

Talents
Jezrael is a Marksman and we’re gonna love her anyway, right folks? Right. So, looking at her Marksman tree, the only thing that gives BRK pause is the split of five talent points among Improved Stings, Concussive Barrage, and Barrage.
If you PvP, Concussive Barrage isn’t the worst talent in the book, but for PvE, putting just one point into it is a waste. For any situation, 15% bonus damage to Multi Shot is a super selection; increase the depth here from one to three points. If you like the Improved Stings, leave two points there, but BRK would personally select Improved Barrage and the 10% change for Multi Shot to crit.
Gear
Our first look makes us think Jezrael is a PvP fan; lower than normal agility and ranged attack power - especially for a Marksman - but really nice armor and stamina. If PvP is your schtick, Jaz, then you’re on the right track. I would love to see your pet’s stats if you went BM and kept all that sta/armor gear. But if you’re instancing, than dump some of that stamina gear and get more agility and attack power.
Get an enchant on the Terokk’s Quill immediately. Either the +25 or +35 agi would be nice; BRK would like to see your agility break 400.
Your trinkets and rings concern me slightly. There are easy quest rewards that supply you with much better gear than the Don Julio’s Band and the Blackhand’s Breadth. Mana Tombs has a nice ring drop from the last boss, too. Piece of cake instance for 70s.
The Auchenai Boots are the only piece of gear I actually disagree with you wearing. If it weren’t for the gems, they’d have zero agility and attack power. I’m sorry, but BRK says No to the Auchenai Boots.
Everything else looks quite nice. Good bow - and I see you’ve got a scope - very good belt, love the eyepatch, and the greenie chest armor is nothing to sneeze at.
That concludes this review, and I hope I’ve given you the information you sought… but… um, don’t suppose there any more brownies?

Is this is a regular service that BRK provides in exchange of brownies?

Wow thanks for such a quick response! ::forks over more brownies:: I can advise that I am NOT a redhead so hopefully that will save an earboxing
You’ve definitely honed in on the flimsiest part of my spec hehe. I was kind of unsure what to do with those points in the middle there so I’ll definitely be taking your comments on board!
As for gear, yah I’m looking for more AP for sure.Agi vs stam yes good point. I had read somewhere or the other that stam would be important… but maybe not so much huh? Oh and I will have to award -5 cool points for forgetting how to spell my name halfway through your post lol.
I want enchants… I neeeeed enchants… I am harrying my warcrafting partner in crime aka the manbeast to skill up stat! I could buy them I know.. but I like to ‘buy local’ if you know what I mean
Trinkets and rings - I NEVER know what to choose. Is AP better than crit chance is better than agi is better than and so on… I guess my question is: which is better higher crit % or higher AP. I mean both I would imagine right? Hmm.. but AP first?
I agree about the boots too lol. I have a pair banked which are ok [Dreadhawk's Schynbald of the Ancestor]not sure which are better out of those 2 guess I’ll hope for a good drop/quest reward to come along.
Thank you very much for taking the time to do this review, definitely +10 cool points for being so kind and, hell why not.. ::slips another plate of brownies to BRK::

Grimshar - BRK is happy to do gear and talent reviews, but does get overloaded with requests sometimes. We feel bad when we cannot perform a review for everybody who asks. Certain people don’t need any help; their builds are just fine. Certain people are so lost it would take a BRK-kick to straighten them out.
Jezrael - BRK has edited the post to properly identify you. Our apologies for the error. As for the enchants, I can see waiting for the smaller ones, but the 2h weapon enchant you should get now. It’s a Big Deal.
And the macadamia nuts were awesome; love the special touches.
Brownies always help, though.

I’ve done some playing with the numbers between Agi, CS, and AP. It gets pretty involved considering all the talents that affect them and the fact that it is dependent on what damage you’re doing (At lvl 1, 5AP is much better than 2% crit but not so at lvl 70). I won’t go into all the numbers and exact results, as it gets needlessly complicatd. I’ll tell you this: my rule of thumb (for BM and MM specs) is 1 Agi ~ 1 CS ~ 3 AP. The reason Agi and CS are worth more is that 22CS or 40Agi will increase your crit strike chance (and therefore damage) by 1%, and it takes more and more AP to get 1% as your progress. Agi, though, also increases your AP, so the fact that it contributes less to crit makes it kinda balance out.
Again, this is a rough rule of thumb. It actually holds pretty true for anyone doing 300-800dps and using steady shot as often as possible (steady shot is very AP dependent, so it makes AP more valuable). If you find yourself using using Steady Shot rarely, consider leaning a bit towards the Agi and CS.
This includes the AP given to your pet, by the way, so don’t let any bozos tell you to put him away.

Oops… Meant that 50AP is much better than 2% crit at lvl 1.

Looking at your gear it looks like you have your carrot and crop equiped I think that if you`re using the crop that`s the fastest you can go the carrot won`t actually help.
