I just made my little pink-haired gnome mage last night. I’ll be there with bells on! Well, I guess having the bells on would technically be against the rules…

  2. Lassirra on March 28th, 2007 5:33 pm

I…. think I might actually have to work while the racing is happening. :*(

It figures, the one time I get called in to play cater-waiter, is the one time something fun and interesting is going on! (Not to mention, our guild starts raiding that same night…)

    /sigh

  3. Damh on March 28th, 2007 6:07 pm

I hope everybody comes to the race. I made it short and easy so that you can log in to Madoran, make a gnome, and finish the race in 30 mins. Your instances, raids, and family should hopefully be able to come play too. Bring em all!

But Lassirra, Huma, Barby, Excalibur, Gitr, Emira, Crystalis, Amanna, Sinker, Kinless, Taudok, Adrus, and YANE - you will be at the Gnome Race of BRK will be crushed beyond measure.

    Don’t make me cry, d@mnit.

I’m certainly gonna try to make it!

This probably goes with out saying, but you may want to add any speed enhancing buffs to the list of prohibited actions…

    Hope to see you there.

Yeah Damh you can count on me being there, I made my little mini-me about a week or so ago. little Taudok the funny looking gnome :) I just hope you’re ready to fork over that 100g, Beevo would really like to set that aside for his Nightsaber mount @40 :). Not gonna get an Elekk < – Waaaay to repulsive!!! Time to take him over to Teldrisil and start farming Darn rep :P

  6. Damh on March 28th, 2007 6:54 pm

Bash, thanks for the “enchants” idea. If Beevo is coming for mount-money, I’m not gonna put anything past him.

    ;)

  7. Amanna on March 28th, 2007 7:08 pm

Maybe you should have a rule that everyone flags themselves for PvP just to make it a bit more interesting…

  8. Damh on March 28th, 2007 7:22 pm

If I’d wanted interesting, I would’ve gone through with the Summon-Gnomes-to-Shatt-Race-to-Honor-Hold naked gnome race. I want fun!

And not “fun!” as in a single level 70 undead mage aoe’s 125,000 naked gnomes in Lakeshire, either.

But next time I’m having a party, Amanna is on the Entertainment Committee.

  9. taudok on March 28th, 2007 7:23 pm

ouch Damh, that hurt.. lol j/k

and amanda, don’t make it any harder on us, last thing I want is a GY race to my corpse when some hordie decides to gank the naked gnome :)

but I do have to agree, it would make it more interesting

I’m so sad I won’t be there. But I did do a practice run the other day. One thing I noticed was that I died just after entering Redridge. I rezzed at the graveyard just across the lake from Lakeshire, which probably cut off a substantial amount of time. You might want to address this in the rules.

And take pictures, lots of screenies!

  11. Excaliber1 on March 29th, 2007 8:31 pm

LOL collge visits wadda know :)

UPDATE: Im comin home saturday mornin, so Ill see ya there (I hope) :)

  12. Anonymous on March 30th, 2007 6:30 pm

You should take out the whole tram thing and make everyone run the whole way redridge. More of a challenge that way. Also, everyone should /pvp =D Ancient Hysteria did a similar race from darnassus to gadget, it was epic.
