Where’s the Post?
The next article has been in work. Been built. Edited. Spell-checked. Re-edited. Rewritten. Trashed. Resurrected. Rebuilt. Re-edited. Frowned-upon. Sent back for revisions. Trashed again. Re-resurrected. Totally revamped. Math added. Math double-checked. Math laughed at. Math re-edited. Sent back for “extensive” revisions. Trashed. Uncrumpled, ironed, and rebuilt. Lies removes. Bribes returned. Truth spoken. Truth laughed at. Editors beaten. Fabrications reinserted. Post submitted…
But there’s a little work left to do on it, so hopefully tomorrow.
If I made this an Open Comment article, would you call us lazy?
Edit: BRK made a spectacular cup of coffee today. Top notch, Mrs BRK would be proud.

please explain to us confused durids the purpose of an old lady and wendy’s?
“Where’s the beef?”
Anyone?
Okay…I’ll give you two topic choices:
1) If you had to settle down and establish a permanent residence in Azeroth (or Outlands), where would you stay and why.
2) Given the changes in modern fiber optics, why would the military spend millions of dollars on trying to update the current MIL-STD 1553 standard rather than pursue the 1773 option. Justify your answer with at least 3 charts, graphs or pictures of your favorite Jim Henson Muppet.

Any comment on the Beastmaster hunter w/ over 17k health?
How about a comment on the RL-female Night Elf Druid on Laughing Skull who traded a night in bed for 5000g for an epic flying mount, (a mount for a mount)?
ok that’s just sad… *bows head in shame for all druid females out there*
Re: Beastmaster hunter w/ over 17k health?
Am I missing something, BRK is always telling the world, that the primary attribute of a Hunter is Agility, Agility, Agility. With a Crit rate of Melee 0.72% and Ranged 2.12%, the fights must be long and very tedious.
MIL-STD-1773 repeats nearly word for word the 1553 but doesn’t specify power levels, optical wavelenghts and spectral characteristics among other things, but why they would update the old one instead of implementing the new one is beyond me, since I don’t have enough knowledge of the market.
Basically comes down to cost savings…
The Air Force issued a study on whether they could get 1773 performance out of a legacy 1553 architecture. The study found that although 1773 data transfer speed of over 1Gbit/s was not attainable, the new 1553 (E1553 or HyPer1553) could be implemented with absolutely no changes to the current legacy wiring, Operational Flight Program and infastructure of military aircraft. This saves milions of dollars of downtime and testing.
So, here’s a bonus question: Who is responsible for maintaining the the most popular data bus standard used on US military aircraft?
Hint: Engineers, but not the ones you would expect.
Okay, I want my BRK +Geek points now.

I would take a guess and say ISO or IEEE. but thats just a stab in the dark because all comminication specs i have come across as an EMC Technician all seem to stem from one or both of these two organizations/bodies.
As far as where’s the beef…….It is betweens Wendys’ buns (_|_)
Vorian Nelf Hunter Anderhol-US PVP
That would be the logical guess, but it’s actually the Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE).
oooo, close
I should have known. Working in the Detroit area and at an automotive supplier. But then again I think the last time I did anything that referenced the SAE was about two years ago when ford still required Tri-plate testing out of the SAE J1113.
