    I have been reading you Blog for about 2 months and have enjoyed every minute of it. The passion for your class and the BM spec are very prevalent.

    I have only been playing WoW for a little over 3 months and sense that time I have played every class there is. My main is a night elf hunter who with your help has become a BM and I am very happy with him at the moment. Enough ego stroking…

    My question is this is it worth going into LW to get the mail items that can be created though LW for a hunter?

    My hunter has been a LW since I first got him a profession. Leveling, there were times that I crafted stuff that was better than any drops/rewards I had, and could save money on the occasional blue item. However, you can buy almost anything a LW can make.

    The only time it really comes into play is for the epic BoP set at 70, but even then I’m probably goine to keep my BoE Felstalker set over the Netherstrike (or whatever it is) set, purely because I don’t think the ridiculous mats costs justify the minor increase in stats.

    There are a few items you need LW to use (the drums, mostly), and there’s a ‘transmute’ for refined deeprock salt, but I’ve never used a single drum and always forget about the salt (it’s on a 72 hour cooldown anyway).

    I’m a 375 Dragonscale LW, but it was definitely for personal achievement more than a necessity for gear.

    And of course none of us will ever see any of it. Well, maybe when the next expansion comes out and level 76 greens are oustripping this stuff and people run the Black Temple in 5-man groups for fun and we all have mounts that warp the very fabric of space-time and can fly through terrain, and mages can conjure Red Bull and gold spammers maphack into your instances, wipe your group, and then whisper ads at you.
