It’s Wednesday Again?
The latest BigRedKitty on WoW Insider column has received a blessing from the Editors and it’s in the queue for our traditional 3:00pm time slot. This will be the first week we don’t have a Moony drawing as our header, and although we’re very sad about that, she’s dedicating more time to her family now and that’s always a Good Thing.
No self-slam today as we’re really busy at work. We know you’re disappointed, but we think you’ll like our epitaph over at BigRedIdiot in its place.

OMG that picture is the best.
I don’t understand what people have against BRK… BigRedBoar is a little undertandable at most, as hordies want to have their 5 seconds of fame, but seriously, where I come from, the original home cookin is always best, and thats what I would sompare BRK to, original home cooking. now, enough kissass, but on to a serious point. BRK is simply providing a perspective, and a damn accurate one at that, of the Beast Mastery Spec of hunters.

BRR imo is at least a well spoken hordie ~wink~ but a hordie nonetheless. However, I could care less how many more BR___’s there are to come. As long as they can back their talk up with facts, I’ll be there to listen. Damh know’s my hunter is far from ever being considered “uber” anything, yet I still get a ton of respect from those on my realm. And have been told on many occasions that if I am ever in need of a group or run to let them know and it’ll be done in a matter of mins.
Keep it up BRK, even though you did convert me to your server & guild (then left). I’m still a loyal BM fan.

For some reasons I can’t post comments on wowinsider so reacting here.
All recent wowinsider macros don’t take advantage of the 2.1 syntax changes.
#showtooltip: doesn’t need an argument anymore, Slouken on the UI & Macro forums will regularly recommend letting the game sort it out by itself
Conditionals can be grouped to shorten macros (less important for your own hunter macros but for other classes who may run into the max character limit in macros, a godsend)
Eg your macro
/cast Feed Pet
/use [pet:cat] food 1
/use [pet:warp stalker] food 2
can be shortened to
/cast Feed Pet
/use [pet:cat] food 1, [pet:warp stalker] food 2
Or a bandage macro for instance
/use [help][pet][target=player] Heavy Netherwave Bandage
which is way shorter than separating them into three lines
On the issue of macros…does anyone know how to make a macro that assigns my current target as skull (assuming I am the group leader of course). It would help with chaotic fights in instances when I want to help everyone know who to destroy first.

what we need is for a lock to start Big Red Void and post for warlocks and maybe a Big Red Pally for the pallys but to find someone from the other classes to put out worth wile info on there class that would be the hard part
To assign skull to your current target:
/script SetRaidTarget(”target”,8);
The symbol is determined by the number (8 is skull). The full list is
0 = no icon
1 = Yellow 4-point Star
2 = Orange Circle
3 = Purple Diamond
4 = Green Triangle
5 = White Crescent Moon
6 = Blue Square
7 = Red “X” Cross
8 = White Skull
There are a LARGE amount of paladin blogs out there, all of which I think put out good info.

You are my hero. I have been trying to figure this out for the longest time. Of course I havent tried researching it or anything, just thinking to myself, “Man, I wish I could put a line in my Assist Focus macro to place a skull on the next burn target.”
