Reputation Check!

We were asked for an update on our journey towards a Netherray mount, so we thought a screenshot of our reputation panel would be appropriate. Since we hit revered with the Sha’tari Skyguard, we’ve slowed down and have only been doing their daily quests.

When we have no instance to run, we head down to Shadowmoon Valley and grind the Netherwing daily quests. These are all good money-makers and some we get some nice drops, too. A Bringer of Death staff fell at our feet and we quickly sold it for 90 gold. Yes, that’s less than standard, but the guy who bought it only had 92 gold and he was very appreciative. He said, and we paraphrase, “It’s good to see there are still some nice people in this game.” We blushed prettily, of course, but mainly our Loot Karma was bumped significantly.

If we had our way, we’d run Shattered Halls every night and day to try to get exalted with Honor Hold. They sell a spiffy purple gun to those who attain that rank and we’d do a Happy Dance of Joy if we obtained that weapon.

Steamvaults is another favorite because the last boss drops two pieces of Beastlord gear. They never drop for us, of course, but we keep trying.

    The first time I ever killed the last boss in Steamvaults (this was a guild run) he dropped BOTH Beastlord pieces. I was the only hunter there, so got both of them. I did not take an SS, I was in too much shock.

    About 5 days later on a guild run in Mechanar (my second time there ever), the Beast Lord Helm dropped.

    My guild hates me now.

    hmm… with the cursed dice I have, methinks I need to take up LW or BS once I max out the grind, as it’s the only way I’ll get good gear.. :P

    BRK, for the more casual player, what rep grinds should be focused on first?..

    We started to answer the “which rep” question, but basically wrote the BRK Guide to Outland Reputation for Hunters. We’ve pulled it and will post it on its own.

    Just keep hamering away at kara.

    the rep rewards from HH or the BL pieces are nice, but they won’t last you long if you’re upgrading to kara gear.

    hmm someone is getting major Big Red Idiot points today.

    I see your ogri’la rep at non-exsistant. That tells me youre missing their daily quests. Whats nice about them is that two of them grant both Ogri’la and Skyguard Rep. You can kill two birds with one stone, and at ogri’la exalted theres an epic bow of with a decent speed. Im sure you’d love to replace your entire stable of 6X DPS blue weapons with a nice shinney epic.

    We are still trying to complete the 5-man quests to start the Ogri’la daily quests. We think we’re on the last one, but finding a group to do them is a huge PITA.

    What I did to get my netherray:

    1. All the quests available from skygaurd and then the 4 dailies.

    2. The Group quest which required getting the farmable mats and summoning the bosses ect ect..

    3. Killing mobs and turning in the dust, by the time I got my mount I think I had near 60-80 elixirs.

    Since your oh so smart your prob doing all that stuff anyways.Oh btw I think its impressive that your revered by only having the 2 dailies.
