BRK’s Addons

BRK » 30 June 2007 » In Addons »

Here’s the listing of our Curse-Gaming addons:We only use GroupCalendar when the guild we’re in uses it, but we keep it in our listing for quick reference.

We also use CyCirled, but Curse doesn’t have it. You have to go the the WoWAce website and get it from there.

you should check out two Addons I found that I absolutely love having for my Hunter: FloAspect and FloTotem.
Aspect puts all the hunter Aspects into a movable bar and updates them every new rank.
Totem is a Shaman/Hunter mod. For Hunters it puts all your traps into a movable bar that you can move around.

I love having these and glad I found them

Thanks kaelus! I was just searching for addons like those a while ago but couldn’t find up-to-date ones.

I would also like to recommend a great addon called Quartz, that replaces the default cast bar and has many other neat features.

Other addon I couldn’t live without is a small one called RangeCheck, which adds a little movable text that turns green when you’re close enough to the target and red when you’re not. I’m sure there are many other mods that do these but I love RangeCheck just because its so simple.

One more: ICU is a great addon to have on battlegrounds. Whenever you have Track Humanoids on and you move your mouse to the dots on the minimap, it shows whether or not the target is an enemy or ally.

    Great post BRK!

Have you looked into a compilation at all? they can be really handy especailly all deuce http://wow-en.curse-gaming.com/downloads/details/4575/ if you have the wowace updater its much easier to update. The addon is really nice and very easy to customize, It looks like a lot of addons when you first download it but Ace tends to be smaller type addons too.

We used Photek UI for a while, loved the look of it, but couldn’t get accustomed to it. :)

You should get rid of titan panel and get Fubar it uses way less space and does exactly the same. Also I am pretty sure you have it but Cartographer is a godsend of Addons.

    Agreed…

Fubar is wonderful…The amount of crap you can throw on there is just silly…I think I’m addicted to all of my Fuaddons… :(

Also, I use AspectBar for the seperate aspect bar, and Fizzwidget’s TrackMenu, which adds a tracking dropdown button to the minimap…so much easier, and much better on real estate..

We dislike FuBar due to the incompatibility issues with FuBar 2.0 and most plugins still only good for FuBar 1.2.

Also, we have everything we want and need with Titan. If it ain’t broke, etc.

BRK thanks so much for posting that. When I get home from work I will check them out. Your interface looks so awesome lol.

Hi BRK, In regard to your comment on FuBar havoing compatibility problems, that is no longer a big issue. I used to have the same problems but lately they’ve been picking up speed and everything you need is there. I too used to have Titan but it is such a memory eater that i tried out FuBar just for the heck of it. What i did find annoying sometimes was that certain addons weren’t supported at all by FuBar (no problems with compatibility, just nonexisting ^^). Even those days are gone. Haven’t found a single addon i need that doesn’t work with FuBar anymore…
