Thanks to Doom, Anhk, Brigin, and Tredezar, we’re done with the Ogri’la 5-man quests and cranking out the dailies up in BEM. We hit friendly with Ogri’la after one day and are having a blast with the new things to do.

The bombing run is da bomb. Remember the bombing run in Hellfire Peninsula that we all did ten times just because it was so cool? Blizz added a bombing run in Skettis, but it’s just not the same; it’s more of a fly-stop-n-drop than a bombing run.

Well, they fixed that in BEM. This is the most fun daily quest we’ve ever done. The Fel Canons rock; they’re mean but fair. You have to dive-bomb ammo dumps and chuck a bomb on the target without being shot down. Tremendous fun, the only draw back is that you can only do it once per day.

The other major daily quest, rodeoing netherrays, is OK. The highlight is the over-s3xed female gnome quest-giver; we approve.

We’re getting closer to the epic Netherray riding mount, also. Red, we think.

The daily quests for the Ogri’la includes a Simon-Says-type game where you have to memorize color sequences and repeat them. Just write down the sequence if you cannot memorize the 8-color patterns the game throws at you.

The only other factions we’re seriously working on are Honor Hold – for the Veteran’s Musket – and Aldor. The rest, meh, whatever.

    Yeah, the simon-says stuff is pretty easy. Just open a chat box, put your camera directly above you, and start typing as the directions are shown to you, like “L R R U D L D”. Then punch ‘em out, erase the chat box, and do it again. Yay!

    Funny you mention the Hellfire bombing quest. I just did that for my very first time today! The easiest xp I think I have ever gotten.

    Yes pls work on HH rep, I check these forums everyday it would be nice to see you get the musket.

    We ran botanica 2x last night trying to get the Beast Lord Curiass. No luck.

    We want more Shatterd Halls, but it’s tough when there is nothing in the instance we want except rep.

    There’s another DQ when you get to Honored with Ogri’La where you have to “banish” demons, by killing them near portals you can open at your discretion with a little crystal. Can be a pain if you get jumped by three at once (or by those Godforsaken Corruptors that wander the place), but otherwise, not too bad. As for Simon Says, I just assign them numbers 1-4

    And the idea’s the same. Other friends and guildies use the first letter of the colour, and I’m sure if you have perfect pitch, you can even use the notes.

    For your HH rep, are you unable to get a group for some of the Heroics, or are they just not to your taste?

    We try to get heroic groups, but if you think regular instances are hard for a hunter to get invited to, heroics for hunters is even worse.

    well took me one full day (24 hors straight) to farm honour with thralmar for the bow..after all quests done that gief rep with them….helped a lot to have the item that incresed the honour rp gained…gogo, it is a pain but the bow rocked a lot(especialy for trool hunters).Btw consortium rep is a must also, at exalted you get 3 (or is it 2?) blue gems per month.for non miners it is great.

    Is it just me, or did the bombing quests get more difficult after last Tuesday’s patch? The cannons in BEM seem more likely to hit (now getting knocked of occasionally on an epic flying mount, and constantly on a standard flier), and the birds in Skettis seem to be much more of a pain too.

    I’ve been boycotting all 5 man invites unless someone wants to go to heroic Bot.

    At this point, I REALLY need to upgrade my boots…

    It’s worked out so far with getting more groups to want to go there, but still no drops.
