We Gotta Make Dinner, But…
BigRedKitty on WoW Insider, tonight at 6:30pm. We’d like to thank the rotten b@stards who f-ed with our computer for screwing up our cookies so we couldn’t log on until we got home.

Find out who they are, stick some tasteless jokes/pictures/novelty items in their office/cubicle/pen and use misdirection to bring the mob (boss) to them.
I’m afraid that wouldn’t work Derek: the boss is most likely the one behind those restrictions so those other mobs that did the job are some of his ads…
You need to get a really tiny laptop with a UMTS connection for browsing in the office… Coupled with one of those unlimited surfing for only a fee bucks a month type of service! Or do they forbid bringing additional computers to office too?
With regard to your work related lack-of-internet, you could try a web-based proxy service - provided they too have not been blacklisted, but there are many others you could try.
For example http://www.hidemyass.com/ enter the URL you want to browse to like http://www.wowinsider.com/ and click Browse. You are viewing WOWInsider but through a URL like http://w2.hidemyass.com/index.php?q=xxxx.
Alternatively, the power of Google-cache can be used, search “wowwiki snake trap” and click the “Cached” link to see the cached copy of the page through a URL like http://66.102.9.104/search?q=cache:.
I’m not endorsing ‘wilfing’ during working hours, but these techniques can be particularly useful against fascist IT departments.
I love Snake Trap and use it a heck of a lot of the time. What’s funny is that the snakes will, once released, keep acquiring new targets if their initial target dies until such time as they despawn. This is funny because you get to see a pack of snakes slithering back and forth with big, strong, mean characters actually running away from them!
I think Snake Trap is more useful than Freezing Trap in a lot of the new Outland PvP situations, because of the propensity towards flying zerg dismounting into combat in Outland; e.g. traps placed on the Halaa bridge(s) tend to fade out, whereas a Snake Trap tossed into utter mayhem at the south bombing point has often done that last 200-odd damage for me.
Glad to see brk continuing to bring the enlightenment to the hunter community.
Oh and, I’m not sure if I should congratulate you on outlasting the troll comments at WI or pout because you forgot to misdirect into them before posting the article.
Getting through the IT blocks is one thing. But then there are the logs. The immortal logs.
