BRK Prize Time! WooT!

We’re gonna slam through 200,000 hits today and you know what that means! If you can get a screenshot of the counter at EXACTLY 200,000 hits and email it to us, you could win your choice of prizes from the BRK Store! The counter is being moved to the top of the page to make screenshots easier.

Why “could” and not “will”? Because sitemeter is still wonky. We will receive approximately 5-10 emails with the 200,000th “hit”. Don’t know why, don’t know how to fix it. But we will post the names of everybody who sends us a “winning” screenshot and use the BRK Totally Random Selection Algorithm to obtain a sole winner.

The BRKTRSA will involve Mrs BRK somehow, we’re not sure yet. But it’ll be fair, we promise.

4) Hope Mrs BRK isn’t wacked out on a Grande Skinny Sugar-Free Vanilla Latte with Cinnamon sprinkles.
5) If you forget the sprinkles, you’re sleeping on the sofa, (that rule is really just for us, though).

    I want to note for those not “in the know” that the baby onesie in the picture for this can just as easily be modified to work with dogs.

    We all know that your little corgi loves BRK just as much as everyone else, why not show the world?!

    Sounds fun - does refreshing every 5 mins count as cheating?

    On a seperate note - your armoury Iframe dooad - surely if you change the width = “570px” to something smaller, it will be smaller, and thus not take up so much valuable space=p

    and is it not possible to whack in an align=’left’ or right or centre etc

    I wonder how many 200,000 screenshots we will have this time around. If I remember correctly, we had like 10-15 at 100k.

    Bored at work, so I had everything set up. Email ready to go sans the attachment, photo editing software open w/ blank pic already saved.
    Spamming refresh on browser. Counter hits 200,000.
    PrtScn
    CTRL+V in Fireworks
    CTRL+S
    Hit “browse” for file upload in Gmail window on other screen. Attach doc.
    Send.
    <10 seconds.

    I’m awaiting the official decision!

    What I did was spam about 40 tabs in firefox. I got only 1 on 200k.

    I have been reading BRK for about a month now. I love all his information and have seen a great increase in my Hunter performance. I also got my screenshot in. good luck to everyone who got the shot.

    Lol, well mine is in the drawing as well. Is anyone keeping up with wowinsider right now? Someone found a new hunter bug on the PTR. Kill command is causing your opponent to also Kill command back onto it’s target. Read the article for more insight. I know when the patch comes out I won’t be mashing that button until someone can tell me if it’s fixed. Hmmm, I don’t think I should have read BRK’s summary of this contest. I want a Latte now *pout* where’s that blasted portal when ya need one…

    Doh! Missed it by 3! Is there any nice effort prizes? =P

    First time poster here, what a wonderful resource! I started WoW on the day of release with a NE hunter, and with my lvl 10 cat Axiom we adventured to 60. I joined a “raiding guild” at some point during the journey and honed my hunter skills through MC, BWL, and AQ… and then got tired of the raiding game and went casual. Axiom never got the BM hunter love from 1-60 as I was strictly MM/SV. (Pets didn’t raid in those days)

    Fast forward to today, I play a 70 Pally (Brodir), 70 Mage (Acillia), and 70 Rogue (Wocket)…

    My hunters gotten no love, still sporting his Dragonstalker gear, and getting dusty. Then… I found this blog. =)

    Sights is now 62 and a beastmaster, and Axiom is getting the love he deserves. Thanks to you my beast loving friend! =D

    Anyway… good site, good info, keep up the good work!!

    The website with the BRK merchandise actually carries a doggie shirt. Talk to BRK about posting one for you, as I doubt it will be a problem.

    The poll area isn’t programmed with a Comment Area. Frankly, the poll area is almost, but not quite, as frustrating as the MMO character pane was.

    I realized I alone have skewed the results of that poll as I have checked your website 300 times today and from multiple computers and answered the poll each time.

    It’s almost safe to say that every answer is mine, and I just picked something random based off my mood at the time.

    The real poll of who reads this will be evident when we all make user id’s and profiles on the new website. I’m assuming a forum of sorts will be in the mix?
