Ha! My hair is so totally longer than in the graphic you used there.
False advertisement!
…other than that, it’s pretty accurate, yeah.

Well, were going to ask for a real-life picture, but then we realized we’d have to send you a BRK t-shirt so we could write it off as advertising, but we don’t know your size and it seemed inappropriate to ask in a public forum.
So gun-lady had to do.

Good stuff! I love the Aggro explanation. I get it, I understand, but it’s so difficult to explain to other people. I get friends on WoW all the time, and they tell me “This is boring, really, you just attack, rinse and repeat”. And I try to explain to them how complicated the game is, and the challenge that is aggro management, and they never get it.
Now I have a nice clean, and funny, explanation of aggro to link to.
And, in retrospect, I guess I should have made this comment on Ego’s blog….. lol.

Whew never been there so I can’t possibly be the hunter in her wrath.
I don’t really read the WOW forums much anymore, especially the class forums those are ebil.
I do read and contribute when I can to the worldofwar.net forums though. Most of the folks there are good, well mannered folks. Except shifttusk..and that’s cuz he’s a troll. No really he plays a troll hunter..not that other kind of troll.

Well said EP!
I find that healers are most capable of teaching the nuances of aggro to those who are incapable or unwilling to measure and manage it in a pug.
It’s kind of like the old Steve Martin skit on how to be a millionaire and not pay taxes. First, get a million dollars…
First, let the out of control individual die. Then explain the concepts of mana pool and MP5 limitations while you have their attention. Before the ADHD relapses, illustrate that everybody can’t be healed, at least efficiently, thus tank focused healing.
It seems to work with most people, especially if you let them die a second time, and throw in a little cute emoticon. Tho you do have to tolerate an occasional anger flare up, wipe, and/or instance abandonment. Oh well…it’s just a game…
I pray for the light…Love the blogs!
