You live in Orlando? What provider do you use? Embarq is a joke… 1500 at tops.

You on cable? Gratz on the upgrade!

BRK! An investigation is in order. I don’t have a hunter available to slap on the PTR with whom i can make a comparison to previous scorpid damage, but i rather suspect you do. :)

Luxury - in the Antipodes we think 500 plus latency is normal and 400ms is like having two breakfasts. I am really over winning the race to an elemental on the plateau an seeing my shot hit first, only to see that smug ugly dwarf hunter take him off me because he is on the other side of the big ditch!! I’ll have to get a faster nag.

I’m using a scorpid right now… perhaps I’m not using it right though, I don’t see where he’s any more dps than my cat (but I love him in arenas) Should claw and poison both be on auto? Or only poison? And what exactly are the side effects of the poison? Nothing? Just a dot?

Not bad BRK, but I win. ; )

Do you guys not have FIOS down there? :C

_kde, I think the latency is due to the number of nodes/devices in the path.

My speed test to a Sydney node is 15ms latency and about 14mbs download (cable)

After the trip across the pacific it goes out to 300 plus ms latency - and WOW is even worse

    cheers

BRK uses Comcast 6Mb cable. There is an 8Mb upgrade for another $10 per month but we’re not sure we’ll gain anything from it. We do fine with the 6… when it’s working.

Which is most of the time, actually. As long as it’s good from 5pm until 11pm, BRK is a happy camper. Mess with that timeslot and we’ll pull your brain out through your navel.
