I think this would be funny too

    Pick Up Groups
    - Because you have no friends

    or
    Pick Up Groups
    - Show them all how uber your BM spec is by leaving growl on

    more like:

    PUGs, a necessary evil.

Seriously, all you hard-core raiders left the rest of us casual players that are just trying to level feeling just a tad left out. (and yes BRK, you are a hard-core raider).

The worst thing in Outlands is the drop rates, not the pugs.

    OMG-

    that’s perfect.

I had a Pug last night where the other hunter seemed to be allergic to his/her Feign Death button, and would simply melee when he/she got aggro. I tried gently suggesting FD a few times, but it sailed clear over his/her head.

On the plus side, a Shadow Priest can totally tank Stromgarde. How the hell was that so hard the first time, when we spanked it with four easily the second time? Were we all that retarded the first time we played through this game?

I did 5 pug runs of ramparts the past few days. No real problems with the pugs. But no hunter loot either. Now why do I play this game?…

A Resto Shaman, Demon Warlock, Holy Priest, Prot Warrior, and a BM hunter walk into Black Morass. They get WTF OWNED on the 8 portal because the shaman wants to run DPS on the adds instead of buffing and adding damage to the the elite.

Was the group doomed from the get go? Maybe. To much healing and not enough DPS on the elites. The priest and I are getting desperate to finish BM though :(

    Pick Up Groups-
Because you enjoy meeting new people

    Pick Up Groups-
Because your friends can’t always run an instance when you have time to

    Pick Up Groups-
Because you can’t learn much new by always playing with the same people

Sorry, I tend to think people who scorn PUGs haven’t put much effort into playing with strangers. There are a lot of good players out there, and there’s a lot to learn from them. Personally I relish the opportunity to expand my game, be forced to go out of my comfort zone, and alter my play to overcome unfamiliar group dynamics. Leaving raids out of the equation, probably over 80% of my instance runs have been PUGged, and I’d say 80% of those have been successful. Yeah, guild/friend-only runs are almost always easier (although your friends and guild members can be bad players too). But I personally get bored with it.

More power to ya, Nifen. As a matter of fact, +5 BRK Cool Points too, just for the cold steel in your back that allows you to put up with People.

It’s either cold steel in the back or cold steel in your forehead, but we’ll advertise the former.

    /salute Nifen

I tend to agree with Karl here. While I hate Pugging, it is a necessary evil at times.

*bites tongue* Meh the rest of it just isn’t worth saying…

Pugs is the way to show what you are made of, of course we are all different and some of us have thicker skins for incompetence, though I bet if a bloke ran PUG’s to 70 and had to deal with the morons he/she might change that bugle tune just a tad.

mmmm raspberry why are they sooo good
