My Fel Reaver pet. Let me show you it.

  6. Doomilias on September 28th, 2007 3:11 pm

i also read that the new cenarion expedition flying mount isnt actually a flying mount at all. its a special riding crop that allows you to mount shapeshifted druids. yes, i will be paying 2k gold for it on patch day.

while this whole fel reaver as pet thing is funny and whatnot, and obviously just a joke, i did read that in patch 2.4 hunters will be able to temporarily “train” and control squeaky-type priests and warlocks that are exalted with the wintersaber trainers (that also have a capture firefly pet).

  7. TJ on September 28th, 2007 3:20 pm

I hear that said warlock pets never make it past the unruly loyalty level.

  8. Levesk on September 28th, 2007 3:23 pm

I am a bit worried about their diet.

  9. Grumpy on September 28th, 2007 3:23 pm

What do you expect from Warlock pets when you keep killing them just to make yourself more powerful?

  10. greenarrowx on September 28th, 2007 3:29 pm

What would be cool is an Uber Quest of Epic Proportions – an obnoxiously long quest string to get a Fel Reaver Summon Spell. It will fight for you for x minutes and have a cooldown of x minutes. Let’s say it will fight for 10 minutes with like an hour cooldown.

    Can you say BG pwnage.

  11. pelides on September 28th, 2007 3:35 pm

Screw the Fel Reaver! I want to tame King Mosh! Out of spite!

  12. Fathgar the Nameless on September 28th, 2007 3:38 pm

If Hunters can tame a Fel Reaver I think that locks can enslave Doom Lord Kazzak. Now imagine a duel between a lock and hunter with those as pets. I would sell tickets to that thing.

  13. Galamar on September 28th, 2007 3:41 pm

This really is just a big joke right?

  14. Shifttusk on September 28th, 2007 3:43 pm

If we’re expanding to raid bosses I’m calling void reaver for hunters. He has way more HP than doomlord noobface plus can you immagine the mayhem in a BG with all the arcane balls flying at the alliance. Mages would have NOTHIN on us in the aoe department between the balls and pounding.

  15. Ailtia - Kargath on September 28th, 2007 3:47 pm

So is BigRedKitty now goign to be BigRedFelReaver?

  16. For the Pie on September 28th, 2007 3:50 pm

“Mages would have NOTHIN on us in the aoe department between the balls and pounding.”

    snicker

Oh come on you were all laughing too.

Oh and the only way to make lock pets happy is to kill them and suck their souls into crystals.

  17. Doomilias on September 28th, 2007 3:50 pm

eff all that. IM calling Illidan as the hero class for rogues, an epic shapeshift where druids can assume the avatar of a dragonflight, and a new improved death where priests just become god.

  18. Fathgar the Nameless on September 28th, 2007 3:51 pm

    @ shift
    touche’

  19. Rhust on September 28th, 2007 3:55 pm

the fel reavers can be like the mechanical yetis from the xmas quests… let loose a little felreaver, he aggros the entire zone, then dies

  20. greenarrowx on September 28th, 2007 4:01 pm

    Picture this duel…

    2 BM hunters…
    …1 has King Mosh
    …1 has King Mukla

It would be the WoW equivalent of the King Kong movie…lol.

  21. pelides on September 28th, 2007 4:12 pm

    @green

That would rock so hard I’m starting to air guitar just thinking about it!

  22. Ed on September 28th, 2007 4:13 pm

As something completely off-topic, considering most here are extremely knowledgeable….Does anyone know which add-on it is that displays a large icon, in the center of the gamescreen when a cooldown finishes? For example, a large Arcane Shot icon would splash (semi-transparent) when the cooldown finishes? I have some cooldow mods that tell me the time, but I want something quick and obvious..

  23. Secndworst on September 28th, 2007 4:17 pm

dudes …i posted the fel reaver shit in my guild forums …damn’d if i didn’t open a hornets nest …..lol

  24. pelides on September 28th, 2007 4:22 pm

    @Ed

I use Sorren’s Hunter Timers to track everything, but I’m not sure it tracks cooldown on arcane shot. With the way I play, I know after I’ve done 2 steady shots, my arcane will be up after the next auto shot.

I also put the timers in the lower right of my screen so I can see them, but they’re not obscuring my sight on the fights.

  25. Shifttusk on September 28th, 2007 4:24 pm

    “between the balls and pounding.”

    OMFG i posted that

I need to go home I just peed my pants.

  26. RabidPoultry on September 28th, 2007 4:46 pm

I love this group I swear I spit my Extreme Mocha for CB&TL out and got the suspicious stares from the co-workers who still aren’t used to me giggling at 10am

  27. Kruncs of Cho'gall on September 28th, 2007 5:13 pm

If we can get Fel Reavers, I am getting Negatron. ^-^

  28. Irwin on September 28th, 2007 5:17 pm

I’m ditching one of my 3 crocs, taming a Fel Reaver, and naming it RoboSteve (or maybe the Steveinator).

  29. Kruncs of Cho'gall on September 28th, 2007 5:55 pm

While I like Prime for a name, it’ll be used everywhere, thus I won’t use it. I will probably name Negatron MasterChief for something equally random and stupid, like Sparky. ;D

  30. Shifttusk on September 28th, 2007 6:32 pm

Im personaly going to name mine TINY… in all caps

  31. z-man on September 28th, 2007 7:36 pm

    LOL!

I’d get one and name him NumberFive.

Or if I really wanted to be silly: Bubbles

  32. Doogie on September 28th, 2007 8:09 pm

I’ll be naming mine ?apek. It’s a departure from my standard of using Russian names, but considering the word “robot” is from the Slavic tree, that’s not really very cool or clever.

  33. Anonymous on September 28th, 2007 8:09 pm

    @z-man

    NumberFive, FTW!

  34. Anonymous on September 28th, 2007 8:12 pm

    Any fellow Stars Wars Nerds:

    R2-D2…C-3PO

    Or for you Trekkies:

  35. insufficiently on September 28th, 2007 8:23 pm

With all the pounding, balls, and Freudian longings for larger and larger pets in these threads I think this blog is pretty much the straight female WoW player’s best friend right now *gets popcorn*

Oh, and I’m naming my fel reaver after my priest’s shadowdork: Mr. Snugglesworth.

  36. z-man on September 28th, 2007 9:36 pm

    Better still Gort.

If I was crazy enough I’d even consider rolling a new hunter named Klaatu.
