We Prefer Crunch Berries, But Whatever

BRK » 30 October 2007 » In Blog »

How about a linkage post? We have time for one of those, we hope. The kids are eating Froot Loops and watching Clifford, we should have a few minutes.

As always, no particular order, no guarantees, no responsibility, no promises, no demands, no fault, no money back, no u-turns, no extra-credit assignments, no running on the pool deck, no grace period on credit charges, no right-of-way, no turn on red, no Vista-approved seal, and no illegal formations.

Thanks for the link BRK :)
I guess you missed my topic on dorfs hehe.

Ow btw.. don’t fall for it if TJ wants another shot at the Wintersaber grind :P

I really don’t mean this to be rude but what’s with the “We” thing? Who’s the other person? I’ve assumed in the past you were talking about you and your pet?

Great blog though, I have been an avid reader since I got my Hunter to 70 a month ago.

  4. pelides on October 30th, 2007 2:07 pm

    /cry

    I don’t make the cut. :(

  5. Macdoug on October 30th, 2007 2:20 pm

    @Matt:

Ever heard of the “royal we“?

    We have.

  6. Shifttusk on October 30th, 2007 3:39 pm

    Pel I got you linked!!

BRK thanks for the lookup! I’ll try and limit the dwarf toasting in my blog :P

  7. pelides on October 30th, 2007 3:49 pm

    @shifttusk

Thanks man! If I should do the unthinkable and go back to MM… you take the blame! :)

  8. Shifttusk on October 30th, 2007 4:00 pm

Marks for arena only. When I go to kara with my 3’s partners guild and gruuls pugs I respec BM. The imp stings marks builds dps is horrible! But its burst and utility is way higher.

  9. horns on October 30th, 2007 4:09 pm

Thanks for the link BRK :)
It’s always nice to be noticed :p

  10. pelides on October 30th, 2007 4:22 pm

    @shift

Yeah, something tells me I’m going to be in the arena a lot more when 2.3 hits. Got a decent 5v5 group going and I think the burst damage I could do as MM would be really helpful.

Plus, I’ve just always liked the MM play style.

  11. Pike on October 30th, 2007 5:14 pm

Wow, thank you for the link! And as always thank you for your huntery wisdom.

  12. Leukos on October 30th, 2007 7:54 pm

Thanks for the linkage! You and the other great WoW bloggers out there convinced me to attempt to spread my own small amount of wisdom over the interwebs. I have been continually impressed with your insight into the hunter class. All of the hunters in my guild have been berated into reading your site to improve their play. My own new BE hunter is speced BM and my old NE hunter was back in the day.

  13. Ess on October 30th, 2007 8:40 pm

Hey, thanks for the link, BRK! :)

  14. Wildhermit on October 30th, 2007 9:39 pm

    Woot!

I got a BRK link, I feel special now :)

Thanks BRK, keep up the good work, love your blog. I have been advertising you with my guild. I have a hunter, going to remain nameless that rocks defense axes because “I have enough attack power.” Be sure and slap him around a little if he shows up for me.

  15. Gibbiex on October 30th, 2007 10:26 pm

I’ll humbly add my little hunter blog here.

  16. Freejack on October 30th, 2007 10:51 pm

    Thanks for the shout-out, BRK.

Thought you might like this if you haven’t seen it yet.

All those links, and still no shaman blogs. Where are all the shamans? It’s mysterious, I say.

  19. Euripedes on October 31st, 2007 8:50 am

Well, it’s official. BRK linked me, now I guess I need to smarten up.

Seriously, does ANYONE blog about shamans?

  20. Kestrel on October 31st, 2007 2:35 pm

Wait…there are shamans in this game? :O

    Who knew…?

Seriously…I have ZERO shaman blogs in my blogroll and ZERO in my Google Reader list.

  21. Megan on October 31st, 2007 3:30 pm

Who cares about Shamans. I only care about Grounding Totems. Doesn’t ANYONE have a GROUNDING TOTEM BLOG?

  22. Anonymous on October 31st, 2007 4:06 pm

Can’t access email right now. Can I get advice other than leveling to 70 ASAP on this toon from the masses and the man (BRK)?

    Hey guys,

I have a Shaman blog, I took some time off because I lost my guild but I’m back updating now if you would like to check it out.

    Totems-r-us.blogspot.com

I promise to devote a future post solely to the uberness of the grounding totem.

    little off topic …

some guys are hacking guilds and disbanding the guild …. happened to us last night during our Fathom-Lord attempt. they ginvite themselves and promote above GM somehow, spam ur gchat and then brag about it in general and on Blizz forums ….
Blizz makes $50 million a month and you would think they could catch these guys … GM’s are useless in these cases as we had Supervisors and their Supervisors working with our GM to resolve this. They are so lost we just reformed under a different name. But they could just as well hack that also ….

so be aware that this is happening cause one guild got hacked twice in one day and it’s across servers.

kalolz kalolz shifttusk. Well said. Elitist jerks has plenty of utilities, theory crafting, etc for shamans. As far as BRK-quality blogs are concerned, you may be outta luck, shammies. There’s only so much love to go around, and i gotta say… the only shammies i know arent nearly as entertaining as mr.BRK. ^_^

    /reroll?

Of course i’m not meant to be taken seriously. Calm down.

  28. Mirshalak on November 1st, 2007 6:00 am

Yet another link post, and no link for me, BRK! :(

  29. Euripedes on November 1st, 2007 9:15 am

I read Ashuna’s blog there, the totems r us one.
Although tailored completely towards resto shamans, its very factual, informative, and what few blog posts there are, are solid.

Keep it up Ashuna, please? My resto shaman just dingede 30 ^_^
