Not really what you wanted tho, I only have 2 pieces of BL and I’m not wearing them ATM, and I have kara bracers. I also don’t have +12 agi to boots cause I can’t find anyone to do it for me, or the shoulder enchant. AND I have S3 boots. No greens tho. hahaha I need to learn to follow instructions better.
Unable to go BM due to a lack of a survival hunter in the guild if i do.

hey longtime reader first time poster. i’d been meaning to ask you to elaborate upon why you feel +agi gems outweigh AP gems. i know only the former applies to your pet but i feel like i do more white dmg myself with the AP. that said i mostly like to PVP and have little to no raid experience but love my spec for both pve and pvp and wouldn’t change it for the world. oh and here’s my armory profile :

Yeah, I’m kind of a noob. We haven’t cleared Shadow Labs, yet, so I’m still rocking Terokk’s Quill. I also have never had a piece of Beast Lord drop, ever. I have probably half of the enchants you listed. My gear already looks like a clown suit — placing more enchants on them would be akin to slapping ‘BMW’ stickers all over a VW Beetle. From the 70’s.
A little more than pre-kara, but very few Kara drops nonetheless. Most of my stuff is badge rewards, crafted, and a pvp piece. Oh, and I do have a few leather pieces, just because of the lack of drops for those slots in a while.

Those are pretty specific requirements BRK. Methinks you’ll probably only get a handful that meet the criteria. Does it have anything to do with comparing your pre-raiding gear to your current gear? A BRK before and after?
My guess is BRK is attempting to find out exactly how much damage a pre-epic hunter can do.

…couldn’t you just use ctprofiles to enter exactly the gear that you’re looking for? that site’s fallen out of favor since the release of the armory, but i’m pretty sure it still works…
CT Profile has been dead since Armory came out. Hence, our problem.
Vorian, put on the gear we listed, take a screenshot of your character pane with tooltip DPS showing, and email it to us. That’ll work just fine.

The +35 agi enchant is from Kara iirc. I have the +25 agi from timbermaw hold grinding. There are some other differences in enchants. All pre-kara, pre-heroic. I have BM to do before I’m keyed.
Hey buddy… I’ve felt a great kinship with you and your playstyle for some time now and have entered into many an argument with other hunters in my guild only to come out in an incomplete finish to the “conversation” regarding MM vs BM. It’s funny though… I am undergeared compared to the other hunters and rock right on top of the damage meter at the end of the day. I’ve even outdamaged some of the elder warlocks, mages, and rogues in the guild at times (to their smiling surprise).
I recently upgraded a lot of my gear and my Fiance’ has not had a chance to Enchant my gear yet due to a lack of materials. I know this isn’t 100% what you wanted, I run 46/15/00, but here I am:

I use a Gorilla and Ghost Wolf pet and am thinking about using the red lynx skin cat from the blood elf newbie area but have put those thoughts on the back burner for now.

I have 3 kara pieces now… t4 helm, gloves, and rip flayer leggings, the steelhawk xbow was retired after 1 week, in favor of the S2 arena xbow… I had the valano’s for a long time, still use the sonic spear, and have all the enchants you listed(exhalted with aldor, not honored tho)

Why no crystalforged axe if you’re looking for pre-kara gear? 3 70’s leveled and geared and that !@#$% spear will NOT drop for me. I’ve never seen it drop on ANY of my 70’s. Murmur sucks. *kicks Murmur* I could go buy the polearm from HH now. But I don’t wanna. I don’t need the +hit it offers. Really. I don’t. Why? Because +30 hit scope on the valanos bow ROCKS. =) But I still want my sonic spear. *grump*
And lastly, while I’m putting in mob drop requests, can you please make the +12 agi boot enchant drop for our guild enchanter already so we can stop farming those !@#$% skellies?

I agree with Anonymous. According to wowwiki both the Blackened Spear and the Hellforged Halberd are steps down for hunters, unless you’re counting the Crystalforged Axe as above standard.

I Killed Murmur 43 times and no SS dropped

I ended up retiring my Quill w/ savagery after running the numbers.
