dsspeech.pngSecond try at Lurker a few nights ago, and D decides she’s gonna block our view with her big featherbutt.

How can we not share this?

    BRK,

I am a Horde hunter on a different server (Duskwood) that enjoys your musings on a regular basis. Although the point of your post was to share the druid tushy I had to take the time to compliment you on your interface. It’s functional and pretty without getting in the way of targeting.

Why take the time to mark out everyone’s name?

  3. BRK on December 15th, 2007 2:52 pm

We mark out names because we haven’t received their permission to put them out there. One person has specifically requested that we not, so we go the extra mile to not offend any of our guildies and try our best to keep them anonymous.

    @BRK
interesting that you guys put the hunters in the center …you downed him so it must work for you. we always put the hunters on the islands and trap one of the adds. have a kill team for every island.
would be interesting to see you frapps that.

Hunters are not in the center. Our pets are, but we are not. The pets stay on the boss and help with the melee adds while the hunters fight from the islands.

This is off topic, but as I was reading this article I couldn’t help but notice the Google advertisement on the right was currently displaying gold sellers ads. I thought BRK was against this???

    Most awesome!

While I have had threatmeters for a long time, and Omen for a few months now, I never thought about changing the colours of the bars. Or removing the threatgain bar.

Cay has made a movie of the Lurker fight and put it on YouTube. Check her blog here.

Hehehe >.< D definitely blocks things with her featherz!! I’m so going to make a *ferlol* site now just because I love yours so much.

May I ask, why you have chosen Blessing of Salvation over Blessing of Wisdome? Threat generation doesn’t matter while fighting Lurker as a ranged damage dealer and some extra MP5 are always nice to have.

    Hi-

When you leave your pet on the Island how do you keep him from dying? We used the same strategy as above with pet on lurker and hunters on Islands with ice traps. We jump in the water when the Geyser goes around instead of doing the ring around the rosey thing. Do you have your pet follow you into the water for the geyser? Do you have the stay command on so he goes back to the main island after instead of following you to the mini island?

    Thanks for any suggestions

Pet’s are immune to the Geyser. Let them keep attacking Lurker the entire time he’s up.
