The only sleeve lettuce I know of is a frilly edge put on girls clothing. But how that applies to BRK’s Blog? Only the TJ knows that one.

Is Sleeve Lettuce high fiber? Does it go good with a nice vinagrette and maybe some radishes and carrots? Does it mix well with spinach and romaine?

I gotta quit reading this blog when I’m hungry.

Not sure how TJ means it but here’s a picture of a shirt with sleeve lettuce on it.

So interesting to realize how much of my brain is programmed by my small children.
I read “Sleeve Lettuce”… My brain function:

Sleeve Lettuce = Something green on your sleeve = contents of a childs runny nose…

Myabe she meant no Boogers on your Blog… meaning no gross stuff?

Again, my brain is abviously programmed by my children…
    /sigh

Sleeve lettuce is slang for military rank insignia on the arm of a uniform. Perhaps Jane meant for you to not put any more military stories on your blog?

  18. ratshag on January 29th, 2008 12:01 pm

Sleeve the pickles, sleeve the lettuce.
    TJ’s orders don’t upset us …

Figures if the rest of this post ain’t making sense, why should I?

Calliope made perfect sense until cgeorgemo’s comment - not heard that term before, but then I’m British. I’m also ex-military so keep pulling up a sandbag and spinning a yarn when the mood takes you BRK :)
