Not a Stack of Waffles, At Least
We hijacked some folks and went back to Zul’Aman for the first time in a more than a month. Two new tanks, two new DPS, and a new healer, Bear Boss and Eagle Boss both down. We got some… interesting shoulders.
They’re not as bad as some, but now our eyes and shoulders puff like electric trains. We wanted that little socket-bonus for PvP, so we went with a proper gem for the yellow-socket and not another +8 Agility. Yes, it’s not real PvP gear, we know that, but we’ll take what we can get. Not too shabby at all, and lookie at our stats now:
Our +Hit Rating is as close to the Hit Cap as we’ve ever made it. Our next set of WWS reports should show our misses eliminated, and perhaps a subsequent increase in DPS to match.
We have loads of cash, but we’re not bringing any in at all. With the PvP-respecing and the raiding potions and the gems we just bought, we feel the need to spend some quality-time farming money. Not Friday; going back to ZA. Not Saturday; dinner with the Petopia Queen. And not Sunday; that’s when we get to drown our Steelers-sorrows and “enjoy” the Superbowl.

I too went to ZA last night.
I too saw the shoulders dropp. But I’ve had them since the instance came out.
What did drop though from the chest was AWESOME.

Having 629Agi unbuffed, you were capable of doing a reasonable respec to survival 0/25/36 – hehe.
Hitting 700Agi at least surv-specced is mandatory. If you break that number down to unspecced you have to hit 609 agi.

You’re a Steelers fan? I am too. Born and raised in NW PA, but now I’m sadly living in Colts country. Talk about a bunch of obnoxious band wagon jumpers. They wanted Dungy fired because he didn’t win the SB this year. Tomlin is an excellent coach. He will do a great job in the years to come.

What does +Hit Cap at? For a while when I was loaded with +Hit gear I was darn close to +200. Now I’ve dropped a lot of that for +AP & +Agi gear and I’m down to +129 to Hit, or +8.18%

Pauldrons of Primal Fury are one of the best shoulder pieces before entering Black Temple, definitely better than T4. And with the scarcity of Hit Rating on late-game items, they will probably last you a long way.
