We Needs Non-Squishy Healz

paladin.jpgAetherial Circle is recruiting! We have a very limited opportunity for some high-quality folks to apply to be in our main 25-person SSC/TK raiding schedule.

What do we need?

One Holy Pally and two Resto Shaman.

We haz trees, we has squishie-healz of the priest-sort, that’s all covered.

From the desk of Fio and Cay, the GM Squad:

We’re a friendly bunch of casual raiders, 18+ and maturity is required (though we still manage to have gutter-minded fun) Wink

So on to the technical stuff:

We are 2/6 SSC and 1/4TK, Maggy, [Ed: and Doomwalker!] down. We’re currently working on Leo in SSC so applicants should have Tier 4 and Gruul-level gear and able to perform at that level.

Our 25-man raiding schedule is Sunday, Monday and Wednesday [Ed: possibly moving Wed to Thursday] at 8pm EST. We don’t expect people to make every single run, but missing a raid should be the exception rather than the rule.

If you are interested, please send us an email at recruitment@aetherialcircle.com.

If you could please include thingies like:

- Your Armory link
- Your gear list (in case you logged out in like, farming gear)
- A paragraph about yourself, your raiding experience, and why you’re insane enough… er, I mean, wanting to join up ^.^

We use a zero-sum DKP system called SWAPS. For more details on how this system works, check

http://www.boomchucka.com:8080/Uplink/aboutswaps.jsp

Got an interest in plate/mail healing as we clear Serpentshrine Cavern and The Eye? Send an email and the officers will review your application and, if ya look sweet, schedule a ventrilo-interview.

No need for an Orc Survival Hunter?

    I haz Linen Bandage?

Sadly, raiding has died in my guild, apparently life sorta happened to 3-4 of the folks and we haven’t been in Kara for a week, with half the guild not signed in for that long. Sad when you really only have 10 or so players in your guild.

same thing just happened to us. we’ve been going through a slightly painful merger that’s got some people feeling disenfranchised.

    bummer, isn’t it?

BRK, i wish i could raid with AC – you guys seem like you have a great time. but i can’t. for the horde and all that. :-P

I’d join up. Not a holy pally but a BM hunter, i have bandages and lollypops to cure the owies.

    But EU server ftw:)

Good luck, I think resto shams might have the worst ratio value for raiding to active population of any class in the game :P

Can’t swing a cat without hitting a pally though. :P

I would love to try you out, but I am a west coaster and my boss won’t let me leave at 3:30 PM so I can get home to raid. Oh, and I really like my current guild. Good luck with the recruiting.

Once again, I think Blizzard could make a killing authorizing cross-faction transfers. Forsaken priest ftl…

  7. Skorak on February 21st, 2008 10:57 am

Sounds tempting, but my shammy takes both Wednesday and Thursday off from raiding, not to mention the fact that she’s an orc :P .

Good luck with the recruiting drive, and feel free to tell your excess druids to reroll Horde and join my guild.

My Draenei Paladin would be perfect for you guys.

But I can only rand 1 day a week, and not every week…

    Think that’ll work?

Cool, hope you find some good folks.
For the record, the raid leader that I run with has a resto Shammie. They are not unknown!

I can give you a couple of names of really damn good Pallys and a Shammy… but they all come with a package.

1 pally demands that his hunter and warlock (4 in total) friends be in the same guild. Problem is, one of the warlocks is like 9 years old.

The other pally has 5 family members that all play different classes and not only do they want to be in the same guild, they all want to be in the same raid and 3 of the 5 are well under-geared.

The shammy hjas no demands, Dorgol, he can usually only raid 1-2 days per week and his schedule fluctuates from 7PM PST – 12PM PST. Suffice to say, he was always a last resort for us.

You should post on the WoW forums. We had about 7 people jump servers to raid with us. Healers and all.

“18+ and maturity is required ”

I thought ‘the icky one’ raided with you guys? If so…please explain the quoted text.

  17. BRK on February 21st, 2008 4:47 pm

18+ and maturity is required to join. Once you’re in…

  18. Argonaut on February 21st, 2008 4:50 pm

She feigned!!!! Dammit, its hard for me to do that, for one being horde, for two being a feral druid (well atleast not squishy) and three being in a guild called Village Idiots, I mean now its kinda hard to hide the facts. But besta luck to you guys, maybe if you coerced ratshag to level his priest you could atleast have another healer =) (a squishy one, but one nonetheless).

  19. Cay on February 22nd, 2008 2:47 am

    The Icky one? oO

  20. D on February 23rd, 2008 7:33 am

    Who’s the Icky one?

  21. Argonaut on February 25th, 2008 4:08 pm

You guys have some short term memory…..let me help refresh it. From the words of Dammerdung himself

    http://twoandahalforcs.blogspot.com/2007/11/orc-plan-totemand-fishing-pole-that.html

    “Why blog? Because I found a ton of blogsites…. for druids… for hunters… a warrior or two… a priest… an icky… but no shamans.”

  22. Argonaut on February 25th, 2008 4:09 pm

    Dammerung*

  23. Ahiru on March 4th, 2008 12:04 am

I figured AC would be a lot further up the rungs in terms of progression than they are, they’ve been round a lot longer than SD…not tryin to start a war…honest…

    Oh btw, Horde Rulz :P
