Wordpress 2.5 Done and Done

And we did it, the Wordpress upgrade is complete. First time, nothing deleted, no evil lepers set loose on the Internet, nice job.

The Dashboard is totally rewritten. /cast FearChange!

If we accidentally post about how much payola for betting pure-chalk in the NCAA tournament we’re hauling home, that’s not really an accident; we won’t blame Wordpress for it.

If we accidentally post about Doom’s honeymoon… that’s a different set of circumstances. That’ll be all Wordpress’s fault.

Any crazy changes to your themes? I’ve been thinking about upgrading, but dont have to redo my themes.

    Pure-chalk?

I’ve heard the term “chalk” thrown about a lot this year around the tournament, but have never heard anyone explain WTF it means.

Betting Pure Chalk, Is simply betting on the team that everyone already thinks is gonna win.

    Arbitrage betting is fun too.

I’ve never had any major problems with updating WordPress. Haven’t gone to 2.5 yet, but it’s on my list to do as soon as I get a chance.

    BRK,

I’m wondering if this upgrade might be causing my problem….

I use Plucker to download your latest posts to my Palm, then I read up on it when I get a chance. For about the last week (today is 4/5), I haven’t been able to get anything from your site with Plucker. I just comes back with a Parsing error.

After some searching on the specific error, I see that “I don’t think the current Python spider handles CDATA yet.”

I checked your source code and found CDATA. I’m not sure what that does for you, but is there a way to get around that?
