Five of Six
Tidewalker down, Aetherial Circle is 5/6 in SSC. Hunter loot? Please.
We didn’t gear sent to a Watery Grave once, just massive DPS the whole way. We were the #1 non-AoE DPS for the fight, and we’re feelin’ groovy.
Can we get a WooT?
And here’s the WWS report of our kill, we are Thetys. Those mages and warlocks got to AoE the murlocs, so their DPS should be above us; our ego is intact.

so what loot did drop if it wasn’t huntery?
Markus "LAKE" Berglund on 01 Apr 2008 at 1:13 am #
Don´t forget to use Explosive Traps and the occational Volley. I get close to the top of the DPS-list of all, not just the “non-AoEers” while doing that. But then I do 30% more damage with my traps (Smart Traps)

WoooT!!
Gratz on the kill
now go prepare on the mental downfall being Lady Vashj ^^

Now u should go 1st boss Mt Hyjal - much easier than Vashj.
Grats on Tidewalker, he’s quite a pain. There seems to be a problem with pets getting stuck on the tank side of him sometimes after he does a turn, requiring a quick pet recall and send to get him back on the right side. To not do so may or may not cause wipes but it certainly doesn’t look safe.

Grats AC & BRK!
Talking about high hunter dps in nothing but crafted, t4 and badge loot?
Then this might worth al look (Morogrim Tidewalker):

This was the second time we kill Morogrim and my gear was pretty much the same as you can see at the armory now (I was wearing the badges pants at the time of the kill) - http://eu.wowarmory.com/character-sheet.xml?r=Eredar&n=Choral

Hey SSC!! woot.
3rd try Saturday night my guild downed Lurker (I was one of the fishermen go go 375 fishing) and didn’t get the swap done and yes, went then entire fight with my fishing pole equipped.
The best try we had at Hydross, I was topping the Damage by a large margin. Since I am the only hunter in the raid group normally, I was putting MD on each of the Frost phase changes and my responsibility was to put the hurt on Hydross only.
It’s an interesting fight and if the other folks in your raid stay away, you don’t even have to move. heh

Congratulations!
Off topic, but don’t know where else to post it.
Here’s a hunter leatherworkers’ dream that drops from trash mobs in a sunwell raid (further on down the line). Only leatherworkers can wear it, but the pattern can be sold…..I can see many frantically embracing and leveling LW just for this armor….I may be one of em if I can get my hands on the pattern someday.

Borri on 02 Apr 2008 at 10:45 am #
Use explosive traps on the murlocks when they call for AOE. Then go back to DPSing the boss is normal while the murlocks burn in your holy hunter fire. I hit 1678 dps on that fight last time I did it.
Grats on the kill that boss can be a pain.

Our strategy calls for every single person in the raid to be clumped up on his butt, so only taking a couple steps forward to drop a trap doesn’t seem to cause much of a delay in my Morogrim dps while I drop an explosive. The only caveat is that you have to make sure you actually drop it in a place where they will set it off - if you’re a couple steps off it won’t be triggered until the next murlocs come… and that’s no good.
