“Dear BRK, [is thera a] ‘what I wish I knew about the Hunter when I was lvl 69.9999′ post that you and the rest of the hunter community could help me learn before I really embarrass myself at lvl 70. Is there something like that already? Rauk”

BRK’s Top Ten Things a Level 69.999 Hunter Should Know About Level 70

10. Hitting 70 means getting a flying mount. Your next task should be to raise the 5000 gold necessary to get your epic flying mount. Unless you’re an engineer, stop all production-professions and channel all your efforts into grinding money. Do not run instances for reputation; grind money. Do not do quests for gear; grind money. If you can do quests and instances to get money, fine, but if a thing not profitable, don’t do it. Stay away from the Auction House, unless you’re putting things up for sale. Grinding 1000 gold and then buying a 450 gold leatherworking pattern is dumb, dumb, dumb.

9. Start an arena team and get your Vengeful Gladiator’s Waraxe. Go lose ten matches every week if you must, but do ten matches. In three or four weeks, you’ll have a beautiful T5-level melee weapon that you won’t replace until the next expansion arrives.

8. When you start doing heroics, consider respecing to get at least 17 points in the Survivalist Tree. A 0/41/20 or 0/31/30 spec and the uber-trapping skillz will make heroics a lot easier if you don’t have the DPS to kill stuff very, very quickly.

7. Get two pieces of the Beast Lord set, don’t settle for the Desolation gear. The two-piece trapping bonus is tremendous and will be wonderful through all 5-man instances, heroics, and Moroes in Karazhan.

6. Leatherworking rocks for hunters. If you’ve been a double-gatherer to make mondo-cash – and we really cheer you if that’s what you did – and have gotten your epic flying mount, Leatherworking will give you a bunch of T4 and T5 quality gear with which you start your raiding career.

5. Get a cat/ravager/raptor pet for DPS. If you leveled with a boar, we totally respect and understand that. Get a high-DPS pet. All three of these monsters are available to train at level 70.

4. Cooking is the single most important and profitable generic-profession for hunters. Self-buff and pet-buff food will blow your mind if you haven’t used Warp Burgers and Kibbler’s Bits. If you want to fish to bring healer/caster buff-food to raids or to sell, more power to you.

3. Your ranged weapon is your life. If you’ve got less fire-power than a Valanos’ Longbow, get to the Auction House and buy one immediately. Get a 24-slot quiver while you’re at it. These are the only items for which you’re allowed to violate Rule #10.

2. You cannot put off learning the Jump Shot any longer. We have a nice set of movies on BRKTV that will teach it to you. Regardless of your spec, mastering the Jump Shot is a proud tradition of Huntering that you should continue.

1. Once you hit 70, the time has come for you to teach someone. You made it to 70, congratulations, now take a young hunter under your wing and teach them some of the lessons you’ve learned. Pass the knowledge on and make each generation of hunters better than the last.

    10. I managed to accomplish this for the first time a few weeks ago. All I can say is this: Worth. Every. Copper.

    9. I’ve never liked small-scale PvP very much since I tend to die a lot once people notice I’m there taking them out one-by-one… maybe that’s why I’ve taken such a shine to AV lately: lots of people to hide behind! :D

That said, maybe I can find some people to go and lose some games with… if nothing else, I can always just try to really annoy and hinder the other team :3

    8. I can’t even get a group for regular 5-mans, let alone heroics. Combination of odd hours and being in Australia, I think.

    7. See #8.

    6. Sorry, I just can’t give up my grenades and awesome blue ammo. Incidentally, I need to finish levelling Mad Scientisting to 375 and get my epic flying deathtrap and goggles of doom…

    5. Thankfully, I already have Tiddles: my cute, fuzzy white death machine.

    4. Got this (along with fishing) to 375 recently. Kibler’s Bits rules. I really should set up a pet macro that feeds Tiddles his Kibler’s Bits and then auto-/pats him.

    3. I hope my Consortium Blaster is acceptable; I just can’t stand bows, and I love my stumpy rifle…

    2. Happily, I’ve been able to jump shot since I worked out how to do it on my Druid with Moonfire about two years ago. ^.^

    1. Haven’t found any to teach yet. I’ve tried to drop the odd tip here and there, and direct hunters here, though.

Well, looks like I’m not too far off. Which is good, since I’ve been 70 for like two months now… Personally, I’d also recommend another if they haven’t already:

    0. Go out and solo some “Recommended players: [3]” quests. You know, just because you’re a hunter and awesome. Netherstorm is great for these.

  2. Karamia on April 3rd, 2008 8:27 am

Ditto on the epic flying….I don’t know how I farmed effectively without it.

  3. jumb on April 3rd, 2008 8:28 am

Agree with 9 and more. Some of s3 honor gear is hard to replace in terms of PvE. The boots for example, can’t be replaced until beyond the t4 raids. Also the belt can’t be replaced till the vortex one.

  4. Fahr & Bacon on April 3rd, 2008 8:29 am

    Thanks BRK,

You seem to always give back so much awesomeness to the hunter community.

    Much <3 :)

  5. For the Pie on April 3rd, 2008 8:37 am

The three pieces, belt, wrists and boots from the PvP rewards are a definite must have at 70. Those pieces, good enchants and you are set on 3 pieces for a long while.

  6. Eidal on April 3rd, 2008 8:44 am

indeedsio for #10 got my epic flyer yesterday night =D soooo happy, just took me a year xD

  7. Guy on April 3rd, 2008 8:46 am

Why do you have “Valanos’ Longbow” in purple font?

  8. z-man on April 3rd, 2008 8:48 am

It is possible to make money with a profession. Since I was around pre-expansion I already had Dragonscale Leather working. I hit 70 in less then three weeks after it and farmed like crazy for mats to make riding crops and cobrascale armor kits. I couldn’t put those things into the AH fast enough. They were going for 150g and 200g on my server at the time. I saved up 7500g in two months time (I usually only play 3-4 times a week).

Granted Riding crops don’t sell as well today. The kits still do.

  9. Eidal on April 3rd, 2008 9:11 am

Aye and when the new badge rewards come ppl will be shopping alot of new enchants / mats / scopes and so on so it’s likely the prices will rise again

  10. Fathgar on April 3rd, 2008 9:16 am

Z-man I am in the same boat as you. I had LW and I made armor kits to make my 5k gold. I made the cobrascale kits as well as farmed the mats for the Aldor specific kits (Vindicator’s Armor Kit) and had an Aldor buddy LW make them for me and I sold them. I couldn’t believe how they sold. It is a lot harder now to sell them since a couple patches ago mats are easier to get since more mobs drop them and the drop rate has increased.

Well I can’t say I used just my kits to make the gold. I also did kind of a despicable thing but it was to a Horde player so I don’t feel all that bad.

I was in BB at such an ungodly hour that no one was around, I mean even the BB Bruisers had gone to bed. But I was checking the AH and getting rid of some of those green hills pages that I picked up when I was grinding some jungle remedys (they work even at 70). But I did a broad search and found some purple items on the AH. I was like WOW so I checked the BO price and they were 1c each. Man I snatched those up so fast it wasn’t even funny. Now I knew about ppl transferring items between factions but I never really saw it until now. After I bought like the first 3 I got a whisper from a very irate Human Rogue saying that those items weren’t mine and I should give them back. Apparently this guy has two accounts and he was moving from Horde to Alliance. I didn’t really care he was still Horde to begin with and I did nothing wrong. He even threatened to report me. I explained to him that nothing wrong happened and he takes a risk throwing his items on the AH for a low BO and a GM would tell him the exact same thing. So I did what every person would do in my situation, I made him pay me for them. Call it extortion if you must but I made 2500g out of the deal.

    10. Level 70 is a whole new ballpark. No more levels to look forward to or abilities after this one. (Well, expansion, yes, but that’s not the point!) Learn well the ones you have.

    9. Experiment with other specs for your class, and find one that *really* suits your playing style, as well as makes it engaging. Nothing could be worse than sitting around for months, bored with your character, just because you won’t try something new.

    8. Heroics. Don’t be scared. They’re fun. And by fun, I mean you’ll have bald patches from all the wipes you’ll have. But you can get cool gear, so it’ll be worth it. (or maybe not, the Loot Gods gave me the Sonic Spear and a paltry Primal Nether, and haven’t smiled on me since)

    7. If you’re a gathering profession, pick something that’s useful. If you’re mining, you’re set. Herbalism is still great. Skinning… not so much. On some servers, it’s great, but on my server, it blows, because nobody buys leather, period. Go by what the economy supports on your server.

    6. Run instances with and without your guildies. Yes, you may regret the latter; you could end up regretting the former if your guild can’t down Attumen. Make friends however you can. Networking is clutch.

    5. Refine your gear. Have a general idea of where you want your Hunter to be several months down the line, stat-wise, and what the biggest boosts in terms of gear are. Weigh the options – is 30 more AP better than 10 crit, or 2 red sockets? Or would you prefer to get something with +hit?

    4. If you want to raid, +hit is your bestest friend ever. 142 for non-Survivalists, 95 for Survivalists to ensure you *almost* never miss. You want a DPS increase, you want that.

    3. Shot Rotation. Wonder why you’re not doing as much damage? It could be a mixture of things, but pay attention to what shots you’re using, and how your cooldowns work.

    2. Traps. Freeze trap is not always the best trap for the situation. Conversely, I have never found Explosive trap to be useful.

    1. Here’s the big one…

HAVE FUN. It’s a new game at 70. And if you try to do too much at once without a lot of help, you’ll get overwhelmed, like I did.

    Hope this helps. :)

Your blog really makes me want to play a hunter, just so I have another reason to come here :) Very nice post, I consider showing it to some Hunters I know.

  15. Sonvar on April 3rd, 2008 9:58 am

I disagree with number 10. You don’t need the epic flying mount but you do need the normal flying mount which you should grind to get before anything else. You get when you can but it is never a necessity to get. And yes I do have epic flyer and yes I do enjoy it.

Rule #2 is also a nice to know skill but isn’t necessary. It’s applications apply more to kiting things long distances and not used too often outside of PvP. And even in PvP it’s not needed. Believe me I’ve dueled a lot of people and I don’t do jump shots I do more a strafing.

And I’m saddened that you didn’t put in there that you should be learning or able to chain trap by this point. Because a hunter may not have had to do any CC up to that point and chain trapping does become important for 5 mans and Moroes.

  16. Ahoni on April 3rd, 2008 10:05 am

    @Fathgar

Thats great. 2500g. Love it. You did absolutely nothing wrong. The guy is an idiot if he was putting epics up for 1c. Even transferring them cross faction, you would have to be stupid to do that. You get a friend to sit at the AH and buy them immediately, and even then, its a gamble.

    @Sonvar
The epic mount is a luxury, but worth every penny. I have never heard anyone regret buying one.
I have used jump shots in instances when we had CC problems and I needed to buy time for a cooldown to reset. Whether jump shotting or strafing, its a matter of choice, as long as you are able to kite something. And teh Jump Shot is fun.

  17. Ralowae on April 3rd, 2008 10:22 am

    9-1 I agree 100%
#10 there is an exception case. If you are in a guild that does have a regular raid schedule, especially if the guild as a whole is just getting into raiding (aka kara) delaying epic flying is acceptable to put the focus on gearing yourself up to run with them.
I was just getting started on the epic flyer grind when my small guild of friends merged with a larger one. We knew most of the officers from years back, and we now have enough people to eventually do 25 mans. Kara is all but on farm for us, we have two teams running it weekly. I got my epic flyer two days ago. It is worth every copper, but had i gone for it first and not been able to run kara with my guild, i’d be behind.
Regular flying mount is of course top priority, no exceptions.

  18. Val on April 3rd, 2008 10:24 am

The single biggest single pain for me when I got to level 70 was just finding out about the PvP rewards. I never PvP’d before 70 but a couple minutes in the Champion’s Hall and I really wanted the Vindicator’s set.

Looking back at the Vindicator’s Chain Girdle (40 AB marks), Sabatons (40EoS), and Bracers (20WSG) and how much I loved these things, I really wished I would’ve stopped at 69 and grinded honor and marks back when the alliance in our Battlegroup, Emberstorm, could win AB/WSG without resorting to premades.

Grinding AV for honor(because on emberstorm that’s the only place for it) and suffering through EoS/AB/WSG 1 loss at a time = times I wanted to pull my hair out.

so yeah, at level 69.999, my advice is see if the Vindicator’s Chain set strikes your fancy and thump some horde in BGs.

bytheby, you don’t need surv. points to rock heroics >.< I mean, sure it helps for a resist or early break, but that’s why you told the Lead to wait for your cooldown, right?

besides, spec’ing out of “stand-and-shoot” smacks your dps, which is the problem you address:
“if you don’t have the DPS to kill stuff very, very quickly”

  19. Taconite on April 3rd, 2008 10:40 am

    @ Trackhoof
Explosive trap not useful? Wha… I have found tons of use for it to suppliment any kind of AOE situation. From helping to clear the tables by Moroes, the skeletons in SLabs, and lots of use in the Tempest Keep instances, especailly if the group doesn’t have alot of AOE. Also, in AV and AB explosive is a great trap to plant by a flag you are defending as the bursts interupt opponents trying to cap your flag. Better than snake for those situation as any toon with an AOE can kill the snakes pretty easily.

  20. Tenobaal on April 3rd, 2008 10:43 am

    Mission accomplished @Yashima.

Very nice post. Although I must admit that my playstile is quite different, there are some point I will take into consideration.

#10. At it just right now. I am 70 for quite a time but somehow the money does not flow in that easy. But… I am almost there. 800 to go. My rather messed up professions might be a problem !? See #6.

#9. Got [Legacy] on my first Kara run. Works out nicely for me, as I hate PvP.

#8. No way I will go one step from my loved 15/43/3. As a hunter you must love your pet. Why am I not a beastmaster you ask? I am Tenobaal! My arrows fly a mile and never miss. Nuf said. ;-)

#7. I’d love to have any of those items, but drop luck is not my best friend.

#6. I used to be leatherworker before BC. IT SUCKED! Lately I have switched back to skinning, but I simply can’t bring myself to lose all the money and time I invested into enchanting… silly me.

#5. Done. Ralion is my best friend since Teldrassil.

#4. Done. As I said, a hunter MUST love his pet. And his own belly :)

#3. My second Kara run: [Steelhawk Crossbow]. Seems my drop luck is not so bad after all. The quiver however is on my wish list since reading your article. Thanks for that.

#2. I played Quake 3 Arena for several years on a daily basis. Need I say more?

#1. That’s a hard one. As my playstile is still different, I seem to need lectures myself ;-)

Sichren Schritt auf all euren Pfaden.

  21. Kiltreiser on April 3rd, 2008 10:52 am

That’s a great list and should be mighty helpful to up-and-coming Hunters. Particularly liked the last point – reading your blog helped my hugely with developing my skills and now I’m the official -source-of-all-Hunter-knowledge in my guild :D

Oh, and the 24-slot quiver was the single best investment I ever made in this game. All the nights spent grinding and learning new raid content would have been a nightmare without it.

    Thanks,
    Kiltreiser (and Lazarou)

  22. Bactris on April 3rd, 2008 10:52 am

My first ever comment, had to say great guide and perfectly timed. I am two bars away from 70. I have enough for normal flying mount but am quite looking forward to MD. On that note does MD work with traps at all.
Friend has arena team set up already.
Planning on combined Felstalker and Beastlord.
I’ve got to have a gun maybe Veterns Musket.
Most of all ready for lots more fun.

  23. Epic flyer? on April 3rd, 2008 10:54 am

Imo, the epic flyer is not a necessity. Can you get places faster on it? Yes. Does it help you kill stuff faster? No. Does it help you in PvP? No. Does it help you do 5 man dungeons? No. Does it help you raid? No.

It’s a vanity and nothing else.

Unless you’re earning money only using gathering (mining/herbing) which requires a lot of moving around a zone, you generally stay in one place to grind. Yea, you move around a bit, but given how close mobs are to one another you usually take about 3 steps and find the next one.

Spend your time running instances or grinding BGs for gear. That’s a lot more important, in the long run, than having your epic flying mount. Heck, I know people in the #1 guild on our server that still don’t have their epic flying mount and they’ve been farming Illidian for who knows how many months.

There are better ways to spend your time than grinding for an epic flying mount.

  24. Mucinex on April 3rd, 2008 10:56 am

Most of this is wrong. You should be grinding rep with the various factions you need to get you shoulder enchants and your head glyphs etc. Don’t waste the gold or the time to respect survival simply for the trap bonus as it’s a waste and heroics are not that hard to begin with. Grind the Beast Lord set if you don’t have access to gear that is any better but you will hardly ever trap in Kara and just about never in 25 mans. It is a good set, don’t get me wrong, just not worth making multiple runs to get it. Definitely learn cooking, get a dps pet and get your stat stick. If you plan on raiding I would make getting my epic my last priority. Get the best gear you can, get it enchanted and gemmed properly then worry about your flyer.

  25. Rauk on April 3rd, 2008 11:02 am

BRK, as always, thanks for everything.

Btw, what’s the “unless you’re an engineer” part of #10?

  26. Messyah on April 3rd, 2008 11:05 am

10.) Sadly, my fully epic, raiding Druid still does not have Epic Flying. Sad, huh? I blame raiding, ALTitis and the endless pit that is Alchemy. I am NOT making that same mistake with my Hunter. (Though, I am breaking the rule by grinding Thrallmar rep so that I can learn to make Cobrascale Armor Kits, which will become a big money maker in the long run.

9.) Every t00n I ever level will always have all that Arena has to offer. No slacking on Arena what-so-ever! Plus, I am a firm believer in saving for the best possible stuff. So, for now, get as much Vengeful as you can.

8.) Sadly, you did not couple BM with SV in your examples… is this a no-no in BRK’s good book of Huntering? o_0

7.) What two pieces of the Beast Lord set do you most recommend?

6.) Personally, I think Engineering rocks for Hunters. Make your own guns, scopes, ammo, other goodies and gadgets plus… Feign Death + Goblin Jumper Cables XL rocks!!!

    5.) But… but… but… PIGGY! :*(

4.) I agree with you 100%. Cooking is an absolute MUST HAVE.

3.) The Gyro-balanced Korium Destroyer is sufficient for Karazhan, but upgrade it with something from Kara ASAP.

2.) Don’t forget strafing as well!

1.) I’m a snob. I level to 70 on my own, that means you can do it too. I have no problem with offering information and the occasional boss kill, but low-level dungeon runs for gear, help with a quest, etc. You are on your own, as was I. ;-)

  27. ailtia on April 3rd, 2008 11:06 am

I know that Epic Flying Mount is nice…I understand that BUT would you get the mount OR spend the money/time on getting a Gyro-Balanced Khorium Destroyer? Seeing that Nethers are now not BoP I have seen the price for these drop from 1300ish to 800ish. Would it not be better to get a weapon that would help with DPS which inturn helps with Grinding? Please let me know what you think?

    thanks Ailtia – Kargath

  28. Papaoomowmow on April 3rd, 2008 11:10 am

“It’s a vanity and nothing else”

Ohhh, I disagree. Most items in WOW make only a tiny practical change in game play. The epic flyer…especially with a riding crop thrown in… is a huge subjective change in moment to moment enjoyment for me.

No matter how long someone grinds in one spot, there remains a ton of getting from here to there in the game; and the epic flyer transforms that experience. Has nothing to do with vanity…speed is a gut gaming pleasure for me.

  29. itsyourchoice on April 3rd, 2008 11:36 am

Seriously, get a Valanos’ Longbow for 30g before you spend 1k on a Gyro-Balanced Khorium Destroyer. You will get so much more out of a (epic) flying mount than a little more DPS.

Nothing is more important in a MMORPG than saving time (having fun is usually related to faster travel speeds for most people)…and the faster mounts will get you to your destinations in half the time. 100% speed boost vs 280%? Um, hello? Would you choose a moped over a car for driving on the highway?

I don’t know what I’d do without an epic flyer while doing these new SSO/fishing/cooking dailies that make me travel around the worlds.

  30. ailtia on April 3rd, 2008 11:47 am

That may be the issue. I ONLY do the new Dailies. My fishing is pathetic and my cooking is not much better. I guess I should really buckle down and stop working on my alts so much.

  31. Steppes on April 3rd, 2008 11:52 am

While I agree with most of your points, I have to add that Wind Serpents are very viable end-game DPS pets. They’re available at 69 in one color and 67 in two others, so they aren’t a pain to level, and so far, my pet’s DPS has been unmatched even by T5-level BM hunters’ cats.

Oh, and they eat bread, including Conjured Manna Biscuits (no clue if that link is going to work, but I thought it might be worth a shot)

  32. Zoooom! on April 3rd, 2008 11:53 am

Like Eidal above, I just got my epic flyer last night.

I feel far, far less “constipated” travelwise.

    ; )

  33. Doogie2K on April 3rd, 2008 12:11 pm

I disagree with #10 for two reasons. One, if you’re not a Miner or Herbalist, there’s not much utility in the thing. Sure, you save a bit on fare, and have the convenience of being able to pick your landing spots, and above all, it’s just painful flying a slow bird after having a fast one for so long, but none of these things are worth 5,200g. Two, if your Hunter is graduating directly to Kara and the world of raiding (or, for that matter, focusing on PVP), and ignoring the fact that you really don’t need any flier anymore for that, you’re going to be spending more money on consumables than you could possibly have saved on dailies and quests, at least prior to 2.4 when they added about 1,000 dailies for you to do (and which I have seldom partaken in, due to school constraints).

  34. WB on April 3rd, 2008 12:44 pm

I agree with the folks who say an epic flyer is unnecessary, but I’ll throw in a couple of caveats that I think change that equation.

    1) If you’re a two profession gatherer farmer, the epic rocks (already stated.)

    2) The Dailies. So much faster with an epic flyer. because first you get there quicker, second you bomb stuff quicker, and three the epic opens up netherwing for a whole additional set of dailies. Example: going up to Orgi’la, the bombing runs with the fel cannons are a pain in the arse on a normal flyer and silly easy on the epic. Then, after you finish your bombing run, you fly over to bas’ir landing for the new Isle of QD daily. Then you have to fly all the way back to Orgi’la to turn in, all of which is much faster with the epic. Then, take the express to Skettis and do the bombing runs there, very fast. Then zip over to Netherwing to do those dailies. Then port back to Shat.

It’s just so much quicker on the epic, and a lot more money to be made. You could even argue that the time saved and the new dailies availbale make the gathering professions obsolete.

The caveat to the caveat. If you do just enough dailies to keep up your raid repairs and raid mats, the epic isn’t all that necessary. save the 5000g and you’d never need to do a daily.

  35. 2ndworst on April 3rd, 2008 1:18 pm

  36. @itsyourchoice on April 3rd, 2008 1:34 pm

“Nothing is more important in a MMORPG than saving time (having fun is usually related to faster travel speeds for most people)…and the faster mounts will get you to your destinations in half the time. 100% speed boost vs 280%? Um, hello? Would you choose a moped over a car for driving on the highway?”
I completely, 100% agree. There is nothing more important than saving time …

However, let me ask you this: what would enable you to save more time in the long run? A multitude of BG epics and Blues from dungeons? These help you kill faster and more efficiently, which is what you spend the majority of your time doing. Or an epic flying mount that cuts your 5 minute ride to your farming spot in half.

The answer, quite obviously, is that the gear is a better investment of your time. When I need to farm something (let’s pick Primal Water), I spend about a minute flying from Shat to Skettis. Let’s be incredibly conservative and say that if I didn’t have an epic flying moutn it would’ve taken 5 minutes – so I saved a whopping 4 minutes! Now once I reach this site, I stay and kill until I’m done. I once spent 6 hours in a row grinding primal waters for my alt’s Frozen Shadowweave set …

Now do you think having full BG epics and nice gear from instances would save me more than four minutes during those six hours than if I still had the gear from when I just hit 70? I do.

When you spend the vast majority of your time fighting and killing things rather than traveling to different areas, it’s far more important to ensure you kill faster than travel faster.

I recomend getting 2 pieces of Beast Lords and 2 pieces of Desolation.

Desolation shoulders and legs, with Beast lord gloves and helm.
This way you get the trap bonus, and the hit bonus. The desolation legs and helm when worn togeather provide roughly 60 hit rating on thier own.

Why would you recommend leatherworking? It’s pretty much trash now that better rewards drop from heroics or from badges. Nobody needs an ebon netherscale set to enter Kara, hunters are the least gear-dependent of all DPS classes.

Leatherworking is probably the worst possible profession for a hunter.

#7: I have two piece of desolation gear but just one of the Beastlord set. I got more lucky on the Desolation gear. The 2 piece bonus is real good, it free socket for +8agi instead of +4agi and +4 HR.

I think, if I keep up the grind on the dailies, by this time next week I’ll be epic flyin’! It might actually be a week longer if I decide to hold out for the Cenarion Expidition Hippogryph, I’m one run of Steamvaults away from exalted. /cast giddy dance. :)

Well i did all that but not in that order. 1> the normal flying mount. the the purple recipes from leathworking. and the arena team
i did my heroics as 41/20/0 and did just fine. i finally got the epic mount last week after a long time. cooking was 375 before i hit 70.

Well the chest is as good as T4 i’d say and the drums u get from LW is an imba dps boost. Now u can get the new chests from MrT tho which are better =P But still drums, and u can earn nice money out of LW

WB had some good points aobut epic making dailies faster, but im not sure i agree that the epic makes bombing that much easier. i watch epic birds fall from the sky constantly while i fly around on my 225 skill engineering mount. i may get knocked out of the air once because an a$$ on an epic is flying around me doing stupid stuff. (i do get my revenge normally, they eventually land to do deamon banishing and then get bombed when i fly for em….. especially fun if you can knock them into the caster dudes out there)

Sporling Snacks are also good for hunters’ pets, and the ingredients are strange spores which people stick on the Ah very cheap. You just need somone with the Sporagar rep to buy the receipe and cook them. They do the same as Kibblers Bits ( which I am going to hunt down the receipe for… )

Actually Sporeling snacks add stam and spirit to the pet, whilst Kibler’s bits do str and spirit
