I still rock a PowerBook G4 when i go TDY to a class or what not. i gotta say, Mac sure knows how to make a stable machine, over 3 years old, and all i have done was upgrade the ram and got the new OS X 10.5..... yeah, my FPS sucks, but turn off that crappy dash board and free up that processing power and BAM! More FPS!!

i will definitely be looking into that new mac!

I can always count on you to blog about something that is currently near and dear to my heart. Today, you posted stats on your new 'puter. It just so happens that I'm shopping for a new 'puter to keep me (or my daughter) from murdering oneanother over hogging the "good" computer. Somebody mentioned Mac to me, and since I've only ever done PC it was just a "woah" moment. So yeah, now I'm off to research a RESONABLY priced Mac. Got any suggestions?

Mmm Lurker... too bad our guild is co-oping with another guild whose idea of rotating out DPS to get everyone involved is to actually bring the same hunter from our guild over, and over...

When is the next expansion coming out? Looks like I'll be doing nothing til then....

You want spicy?

If you're ever in St. Louis, MO, head to The King and I Thai restaurant. Ask for authentic Thai hot. You will be crying on the toilet for days. =)

Trust me, the MacPro is pretty much overkill for any home user. I'm a video editor by trade and have 2 dual quad core 3Ghz MacPros at my disposal. They're sick. They're pricey and powerful and just flat out sick.
Using a machine like that for video games is pure and utter overkill. Unless BRK starts shooting and editing uncompressed HD Hunter Guide movies, he's better off with the iMac. Heck, I'm even going to buy one. I simply can't justify 24Ghz of 64 bit processing power at home. I play wow, watch video, listen to music, do some offline editing, email and web browse at home. The MacPro would get bored and probably jump out the window and destroy itself.

I still don't understand why you guys don't keep the sheep sheeped for the whole fight. We usually have a fair amount of regen time before Lurker re-emerges because we keep one of the naga sheeped. We just kill the sheep after Lurker goes down.

(Me suspects that there's some "meter padding" motive.) :P

@Mesyah
You do realize Macs are just Intel PC's these days, right? You can even run your beloved, buggy, virus/malware ridden Windows on it in addition to the stable and secure Mac OS X... and Linux and any x86 operating system you could possibly desire.

(yeah, I took the flamebait, but I'm a 22 year Mac user. Old habits die hard)

Sade let me see if I can help you....
(/looks at the PG 13 boundry and wonders)

While I am not 100% sure, I am thinking that "mouth vomit" is when you vomit and you are not near the bathroom so you have to keep it in your "mouth", hence the name. Following that same logic "hand vomit" would be the part that just wont fit and squeaks past your teeth into your hands. (You don't want it on your shirt do you?) Now, keeping to the same set of rules "stomach vomit" I am guessing is the stuff your able to choke back down.

So lets remember this and apply it to: "Eeeeeewwwwwww, a Mac? *mouth vomit*."

I think he might be trying to compare it to driving his car on the highway and getting one of those yuckie burps where he now has to make the decision to:
a) pull over
b) choke it down
c) roll down the window and deal with washing his car later.

Hope the information helps, next week we can discuss the concepts of "nose vomit" and "hair vomit." ; )

Could someone please explain to me what a Mouth Vomit is, as opposed to, say, a Hand Vomit or a Stomach Vomit?
