Karen… /grumble

So we’ve totally lost our ability to know if we’ve linked to a blog in a previous linkage-post. If you just got double, triple, or even more linked, count yourself lucky and don’t fuss at us. Don’t we suffer enough? Why, some PhD-candidate slapped us with her hair yesterday, on-purpose!

Will the BRK-abuse ever end?

The links below come with no guarantees, no promises, no warranty, no full-service lanes, no commercial-free broadcasting, and no written consent from Major League Baseball. Read at your own peril.

Now pardon us, we’ve got a Shuttle for which to prep. (Hint: do not read the bios; you’ll just hate yourself.)

Woot, I love BRK advertisement day. He single handidly (is that even a word?) increases my daily hit average by 200%. As a matter of fact I should just have my blog re-direct here and cut out the middleman (me.)

Also… it is always nice to cycle through the links and find a must have blog that I have somehow overlooked.

  3. Asara on May 16th, 2008 10:00 am

Somehow.. I feel like I have arrived as a WoW blogger today, lol!! Thanks BRK!

Woot! Double linkage. Fussing? Who’s fussing?
I’m doing the happy, happy, joy, joy dance in honor of BRK. Thank you sir, thank you.

Regarding the Shuttle mission, best wishes to all the astronauts. And oh by the way, Mission Specialist Nyberg is SMOKIN’ hot. No doubt she is a very talented astronaut, but wow. Time for a “Women of NASA” calendar…

Ok, done wearing the 20 yr. old frat guy hat.

Phbbt, how hard could it be to get a PhD in Aeronautics & Aerospace Engineering from MIT? Well, can’t say you didn’t warn me.

Nomakk, I think BRK has something against us Survival Hunters…

    I’ll link you, though. :P

  9. Softi on May 16th, 2008 12:30 pm

I must be one of the few people hoping I don’t get a link (for now at least!) – my blog is in severe need of a rework!

  10. Grindurbonze on May 16th, 2008 1:48 pm

You don’t happen to have Karen’s number, do ya? ;)

My poor little urchin girl blog, left out in the cold. :(

  13. Nomakk on May 16th, 2008 4:31 pm

    Thanks Track!

I feel survival is set aside like the part of the sweet potatoes with no marshmellows or bwon sugar on them. You say you are gonna just eat them at the end of your meal…yeah…you say that.

  15. Stuntyone on May 16th, 2008 7:41 pm

    YAY

Thank you BRK. The Incompetent Warrior gets linkage.

    YAY I say.

  16. Rahrnok on May 16th, 2008 10:47 pm

Now, I just hope that linking me doesn’t mean people are going to expect helpful or accurate information. =) I think you’ve sufficiently disclaimed in the past, so I’ll take that into comfort. Thanks a ton BRK!

It is amazing how much traffic increases after a link from BRK… Thanks a lot!!

BTW… when can we have more Airman Howell stories? :)

  18. Viktel on May 17th, 2008 1:50 am

At first I saw the link and thought, “Ah man, someone else has my blog title.”

Then I clicked on the link and fell out of my chair.

It reminds me of the time I went to yoga class and the teacher had a new flyer posted on the door with a picture I took on it.

It took me almost 5 minutes of staring at the image before I realized why it looked so familier….

    /duh!

    Thanks for the linkage!
    :)

Hey BRK! This comment has absolutely nothing to do with this post, but I figured it best to comment on this one instead of a relevant one.

I am like you in that I don’t like just spamming a macro button and find the game a bit more fun when I can actually manually control my shots. However, I use a macro that allows me to do so, but automatically casts my kill command whenever I shoot so I don’t have to worry about it. Additionally, this macro makes sure I never have any of those awkward pauses waiting for my gun to fire before I can shoot again.

First off, proof that my dps is legit with this macro (we’re just starting ssc in my guild): http://wowwebstats.com/4dksr1hodrltm?m

    The macro:
    #showtooltip Steady Shot
    /cast !Auto Shot
    /cast [target=pettarget, exists] Kill command
    /cast Steady Shot
    /script UIErrorsFrame:Clear()

For anyone that reads this and does like the spamtastic button where you don’t have to pay attention to you cast bar…I did this raid specifically for the sake of testing out this macro. I just spammed the macro during Lurker and my dps was almost exactly the same as it was on Hydross, so it works that way as well, no need for a castsequence line.

PS: I’m 20 badges away from the badge bow…and I really don’t want to get it with it being as ugly as it is…but with my guild just starting ssc a couple weeks ago I’m thinking that I should bite the bullet and get the ugly chicken crossbow as any extra dps helps…thoughts?

    Disclaimer :
Chesko – You start off saying you like to control your shots manually, no button mashing. Then you proceed to list the “BM oneshot wonder”-macro, enabling you to do 95% of your dps with hitting one button 3+ times a second.

    Oh, the irony :)

    And get the “BElfmount-butt on a stick”-xbow. It’s TEH SEXEH for BM’s.. on a stiiiick :)

  21. Chesko on May 17th, 2008 11:29 pm

    Grimbert:

First off, you clearly have no understanding of the definition of irony.

Second, as I stated, if you had read, if one wanted to mash the button three times a second, it would work, I use it in the same way I used steady shot (clicking it once after every auto shot).the only thing that this macro does is automatically is cast kill command and enables “button-mashing” in fights where you need to focus on things other than timing your shots correctly.

    Dear BRK,

    HOLY SHIT.

Thanks for the linkage lol… The blog i own is a good mix of my life as well though, so if you think that’s not good enough, you can take it off :)

  23. Jagoex on May 21st, 2008 2:13 am

BRKitty! Thanks for the link! Sorry that I couldn’t send my appreciation sooner — I was watching my daughter being born. Needless to say, my time-management will need some tweaking. :)

Anyway, much plutonic love to ya. If you ever need a ‘lock’s perspective, don’t ever hesitate to pay me a visit!

  24. Lazz on May 21st, 2008 9:05 am

Wow. Feels like I’ve just won the lottery.

Yours is the first blog I ever read, BRK. Inspired me to become a better hunter. And it inspired me to start posting thoughts of my own.

And now you’ve linked me. /preen

Thanks for everything, BRK. Keep up the good work.
