Just thwacking away with our new staff to raise our skill-points, and its enchant decides to proc. The raid leader says, “Which melee guy has Deathfrost?” We yelled, “I do! BUWAHAHAHA!”

WTB BRK Melee-Hunter Guide movie?

    That being said, I just enchanted a spare weapon with deathfrost. Maybe I’ll bring it along to Mount Hyjal tomorrow…

    I love how that wep looks. It dropped today and I wanted to roll against the Warlock for it. Everything is Hunter gear ya know….

    Ok meleeing on the Phoenix Hawk I can understand since it’s right up in your grill… but the Crystalcore Mechanic? come on BRK thats just not right.

    Our only real wipe of the night, our pally-tank died on that trash pull. We were at the next spot on the mechanic’s aggro list. He ran in our grill, we FD’d, he jumped on a mage, we started to MD but our MD target was dead, so we MD’d on our cat. Hobbes died, we were #2 on the aggro list again.

    Wing-clip and straffe away failed. The wing-clip worked and Deathfrost proc’d, but our little precious body took two shots for 8k each.

    Ouchie.

    i’d love to see a huntard video…

    but then i’ve always been a fan of “best of a bad spec” kind of stuff. for example, i’d love to watch a vid and read a post about the best way to do something really stupid, like melee hunter. for example, what would be the best spec for it?

    I always level melee weapon skills on the immortal mobs in Blasted Lands. Outside of the Portal to Outland, wandering near the road there, Servant of Allistarj I think. They get down to like 1% health and then simply don’t die. (I usually schedule this when I have a lot laundry to do, come back every ten minutes or so to run off, heal to full, and then restart.)

    Ranged weapon skill I level on the demons just on the other side of the portal to Outland in Hellfire, letting the forces for the Alliance and Horde tank for me :p Most of the time I even remember to use cheap ammo…

    “Melee BRK” is so wrong on so many levels but at the same time you find it oddly intriguing, like a car crash or something.

    I think I recall hearing a story of BRK crying when he was forced to melee in a Gruul’s Lair run. Considering in that case you would’ve been wielding a hunter weapon that would do decent damage compared to that staff which gives no hunter stat bonuses or bonuses to doing melee with it except for looking awesome. But no I’m not WTB a “melee-hunter movie”

    When I train my student workers in customer service, I often do a situation training of “point out everything that this person is doing wrong” using one of my student managers as the “bad employee.”

    My husband had a huntard in his ZA group last night who asked if anyone had food because “last time I did an instance, I lost my pet he got so mad at me for not feeding him” and yet, this guy didn’t bring any food for this group.

    I make sure when I play my hunter that I bring about 3000 extra Blackflight arrows with me on every run I do so that when I’m grouped with a hunter I can give them some ammo when they run out. I also make sure I bring an extra stack of food for those who “forget.” (maybe I should start giving them razor arrows just to drive home the point that they’re stupid. That would be funny).

    So I’m thinking BRK, do your huntard movie but have him do EVERYTHING stupid a hunter should never do. I find that when my students get to point out all the bad things someone is doing, they remember it much better than me just giving them a list of things not to do. Maybe, you’ll be able to train a whole new crop of hunters to not be Huntards.

    hahaha, Deathfrost FTW. A buddy of mine just got that enchant to drop for him as well and for the really cheap mats I’m seriously considering getting it for my warrior just to mess around.
