    Aww, was hoping for some WotLK stuff. Still a great tool for hunters though.

    I was under the same impression as jumb, that it’d be WotLK stuff… but of course the NDA is still in effect, so not surprising.

    It’s neat, but a little disorganized to say the least.

    Other places have this info, but this is a really nice representation. The calculator is simple (no reset everything to change one thing). It is what Blizzard should have in game.

    Comparison table is compact with all info right there.

    3D pet viewing is extravagant (and understandably slow), but if you must see each pet in detail and compare all in the same pose, it is very nice.

    I was expecting more with regards to the statement about seeing what the difference between a raptor and ravager then the same info you can get from Petopia. For example, spec out a raptor and a ravager for the same job, do an armory pull for relevant information, and then giving a comparison of the relevant data points.

    Seems like it would be simple to do if pets follow the same static growth in stats as character classes do. Then again, I’m not a programmer so I do not know the ins and outs of making an app that can do this kind of work.

    Yeah, I’m a rabid fan of Petopia. It soothes my BM Huntering needs almost every single day (that’s how often I check it and use it). So, most of this information is not new to me at all. Some neat little toys, but I was really hoping for some Wrath info after that golden carrot you dangled in front of us.

    Oh well. The 3D pet thingy is still pretty nice for up close detail and such. Thanks!

    Good to know, but I still prefer petopia. Call me old fashioned.

    Oh, and in the ptr notes - check this out: Hunters: Using an instant ability after Steady Shot will no longer lock out auto shot.

    Could this be an actual fix?!

    What I like about this move, is that the basis is in place for WotLK pet talent charts we have heard about.

    But at least it’s good to see that they turn to the top dog (erm, kitty?) to get advice on their hunter endeavors :)
