What does that spell?
ORCAPALOOZA!
That’s right, it’s almost here! So let’s tell you crazy people just what you’re getting yourself in for!
You remember the Gnaked Gnome Race? 360 baby gnomelettes making a massive pile to Redridge?
You remember the Running of Da Bulls? 600 baby taurens giving Latency Issues a new definition as they raced across two continents?
Well Orcapalooza is very little like either of those.
But what Orcapalooza IS is…
Concept 1) You are going on.. A Scavenger Hunt!
Concept 2) You are going to create a baby Orc, any class, either gender, on Argent Dawn server, US. That’s RP-PvE, baby, get yer dialect ready.
Concept 3) You are going to bring four of your best friends with you, and they are going to make baby Orcs as well, any class, either gender.
Concept 4) Your party of five will compete with every other party to find…
A) Items on The Big List Of Stuff to Find
B) Members of the Horde guild Bloodmoon Chosen we’ve conned into who’ve volunteered to help us, wherever they may be hiding. They’re gonna be sneeky, but also providing colorful shirts!
Concept 5) Your party will start from the orc baby pool and run amok in Durotar, killing stuff, leveling, and collecting drops that are on The Big List of Stuff to Find. You will seek out the level 70 members of Bloodmoon Chosen who will be hiding in Durotar and get screenshots of one of your party-members with them.
Concept 6) At the end of two hours, you email or upload your screenshots of the stuff you found that matches The Big List of Stuff to Find and of the Bloodmoon Chosen folks to us, either at our email address or on the BRK Forums.
Concept 7) Each item on The Big List of Stuff to Find is worth points, each screenshot of the Bloodmoon Chosen folks is worth more points. The team that earns the most points, WINS!
Concept 8 ) Your level 1 orc may only begin the event with that which a baby orc spawns. But after the starting pistol, you can level, use anything that drops, do quests, flag PvP, spend gold, err… copper, do professions, whatever!
Concept 9) No outside assistance. If you have a level 70 buddy on Argent Dawn, he cannot give you BoE greenies or gold. No cheating, foshizzle.
Concept 10) Prizes!! Did we mention Prizes?
Prize #1) Two 60-day pre-paid WoW cards from WoWMacros.com!
Prize #2) A Warcraft Millionare package from Warcraft Millionaire!
Prize #3) Not one, but two BOXES of WoW trading cards from RedScorpionGames.com!
Your team wins Orcapalooza, you five guys get all the loot, and you divide it as you see fit. /roll or draw straws or fight to the death, whatever.
Concept 11) Orcapalooza is going to be on Argent Dawn server, US, at 7pm EDT (11pm GMT) on Saturday, August 23rd, 2008!
Concept 12) TJ will be in attendence, as the Awesome Princess of Oracapalooza. She is NOT a prize; she is an organizer and the Chief Smiter of Cheaters and Nincompoops.
Concept 13) Obviously, the locations of the Bloodmoon Chosen folks will be kept a secret, but The Big List of Stuff to Find will be published here soon. You will be able to download it and print it out and plan which mobs drop which items.

Ha, awesome, BRK. AD is my home server, so I’ll definitely be showing up, even if it’s just to follow some of the baby orcs around. I’ll be glad to help in any way I can, even if it’s just another hidden person, or even something silly.
Though, if any get PvP flagged, it’s practically a guarantee that someone is going to take awful advantage of it.

We are really excited as a guild to be able to host this event, seeing the events that BRK has done in the past this should be really cool.
