Never had a MD failure on him ….
He does actually have aggro in the kiting phase. So watch out. He likes hunters.
He also likes my pet…. *squish*

Yeah I did the guild’s first MD for Supremus, I kept running forward and thinking he *must* be in range because he filled my entire screen, but no, I still needed to get closer. The fight itself is fun and easy though, so hey.
Hope you have a lot of DKP saved for the Choker of Endlessly Bad Drop Rate.
The bigger goal is to MD him at the transition from Kiting phase to tanking phase. If you can put him on your tank right at the start of that phase, it will really settle the next minute for some massive raid dps.
But yeah he is HUGE!!!! As a melee, I just hack away at his ankles. It’s dang near all I can see.

The first time my Guild made it to Kara’s Prince I suggested that our Tank get into position and I would misdirect Prince onto him. As soon as I got within firing range Prince came straight for me, and for a big guy he can move pretty quickly; I had just enough time to get one shot off. He got so close that when he turned to run at our Tank I actually smacked him in the arse with my Sonic Spear. Thank Orion that melee blow didn’t Crit.
