    You know, I must admit, I’ve always wondered just how often you are “recognized” in BGs and on your server, BRK. I know I have had maybe two or three people from various servers I play on inquire if I am the same Tawyn/Lunapike “with the blog”, but gosh, you must be in the hundreds by now, I’m sure!

    Wow, you must’ve been saving for a looooooong time to have 16k gold. = O

    Ok, I have to ask: How do you get the three chat windows? And before you /augh, it’s not Rating Buster.

  12. kahdirone on August 2nd, 2008 10:08 pm

    @armond : try chatter ;).

  13. Lucy on August 2nd, 2008 10:39 pm

    @ armond:

    hover over your chat window. right-click on the tab name (i think the default is “general”). click “create a new window.” then on the new window, right click its name tab and click settings. go through and check all the things you want to display in that window. then go back and uncheck those from the original window so you don’t have them repeating.

    i have three:

    1. my combat log
    2. a general one, for all zone-wide channels and guild channels.
    5. a personal one, for whispers and party chat.

    i do this so i dont miss a whisper when i’m in a city and people are spanning the trade channel.

    that’s how you can do it with no addons. you can also download an addon like chatter and do it that way.

    As a Spirit-obsessed priestaphiliac — three priests on a single server, Discipline, Holy, and Shadow — I can only say one thing: Spirit for all! Doesn’t matter if you’ve got a mana bar or not, my pre-fighting buffing strategy includes Spirit love. Remember, the formulas for Health Regeneration (which occurs out of combat, of course) are based on class and Spirit! And that added Spirit boost between fights can help a bit when you’re mounted and moving from one place to another without having time to stop and eat.

    And recognition is very spiffy. I’ve yet to see anyone from our blogosphere in the Battlegrounds, sadly.

    Which mod gives you the AV tower timers?

    Obligatory Hunter question: my girlfriend has a fresh 70 hunter and would like more blues / purples, but is very unwilling to run dungeons due to epic PUG failure. Any suggestions for readily craftable / buyable / questable good stuff? Something like Emmerald’s list for druids would be awesome.

    There’s always PvP, but I think you’ve illustrated the problem with that ;)

    Use WoWHead’s filters, like these:

    Yep, whenever I see BRK in a BG, I always make sure to DoT him and use my counterhealing macro on his target. :)

    @Cynra:

    Spirit Buff rules for more reasons, too. It’s ‘Buff Armor’, another spell for the Felhunter/Arcane Shot to dig through to protect those juicy Power Words. And I know how much hunters love shields and fort.

    @Lucy, Kahdirone: Thanks! Sounds a lot like opening a new tab in firefox. :P Only trouble will be finding space…
