Its what happens when you mess around with the un-dead.

and more raid videos ! gief.

  2. Elinea on August 3rd, 2008 10:54 am

I myself have had this happen. I’ve ended up taking it twice and the second line would still always be a little lighter than the other one.

We are now expecting our second child. :D

    Congratulations!

  3. Litofeit on August 3rd, 2008 10:58 am

First, a boy and a girl like eachother…

  4. Bumwaller on August 3rd, 2008 11:01 am

    You’re having kittens…Conga Rats!

  5. Brian on August 3rd, 2008 11:05 am

    Time to register littleredkitty.net!

  6. Dancinglion on August 3rd, 2008 11:08 am

Congrats! now you officially have a litter :D

  7. Sephrenia on August 3rd, 2008 11:11 am

Oh that’s a YES! Looks to me like a “I did the test at the earliest possible time to get an idea, but it might say no, now I’m not sure – it could be – is it or isn’t it” kind of result.

    Congratulations!

  8. Stropp on August 3rd, 2008 11:14 am

How did that happen? Dude. I’m not even married and I know how that happens… of course we Orcs are possibly more knowledgable ’bout these things than you Alliance types…

Anycase, congrats on the news. :-)

  9. Ally on August 3rd, 2008 11:22 am

That’s definitely a yes. Go back and look at the instructions. I guarantee that they say “No matter how faint the line is, if there is a line, the test result is positive.”

    Congratulations!

  10. Jarla on August 3rd, 2008 11:37 am

A line is a line is a line! Congratulations to you and Mrs.BRK! :D

I had the same experience some 15 weeks ago. It’s unbelievable still. ;)

  11. Felandra on August 3rd, 2008 11:40 am

This like a *ding*, but just so much bigger. That demands a major GRATS! from all of us.

How did it happen? Well you have one child already, so I guess you might have an idea. That’s what happens when you have to do a quicky before a raid. :P

  12. kunukia on August 3rd, 2008 11:40 am

    Awww, another little kitty.

    Grats, Mr and Mrs BRK.

  13. MajHunter on August 3rd, 2008 11:43 am

Congratulations brother. We did some digging after a similar result. Basically if the line shows AT ALL then it is positive. Regardless of how faint. :)

So flipping cool. My wife is pregnant with our second right now. If this is your first (which I think it is) you are going to love it.

  14. Bradshaw on August 3rd, 2008 11:47 am

    BigRedBaby?

  15. Wild Druid on August 3rd, 2008 11:56 am

“JUST HOW THE HECK DID THIS HAPPEN?!”

Well, BRK, when a boy hunter likes a girl hunter… ;)

Like Ally said earlier: “That’s definitely a yes. Go back and look at the instructions. I guarantee that they say ‘No matter how faint the line is, if there is a line, the test result is positive.’”

Congrats to both you & Mrs. BRK!

edit: Majhunter, they have one already.

  16. LittleBlackKitty on August 3rd, 2008 12:08 pm

OMG Congratulations! I currently have two fur babies (my kitties), but I have a feeling that babies of the regular kind can be more rewarding and probably barf on your carpet less…well…maybe an equal amount of barfing. ;) Good luck!

  17. woemie on August 3rd, 2008 12:11 pm

I suspect the +stam finally got high enough that you stayed in the fight long enough for the +hit to be effective. Grats!

  18. Boffors on August 3rd, 2008 12:23 pm

If BRK took the test, then I think the answer is “not pregnant”, if Mrs. BRK took the test then the answer is “pregnant”.

    Congrats either way!

  19. Harmun on August 3rd, 2008 12:29 pm

    Congrats :)

  20. Donjio on August 3rd, 2008 12:31 pm

I think this is kinda how it happened…
    http://www.spike.com/video/drawn-together/2805836 (NSFW)

If you’re at all in doubt, definitely have one done at a doctor’s office to be 100% certain.

    Congrats anyways :)

  24. Wek on August 3rd, 2008 12:50 pm

Take it from me — a line is a LINE in this case. I got two examples proving it.

    Congrats!

P.S. Your pre-8pm raiding is OVER!

  25. Killerguppy on August 3rd, 2008 12:55 pm

    Congratulations!

  26. WarcraftMom on August 3rd, 2008 1:10 pm

That’s a yes. I’ve taken enough of those in my to know a yes from and no. And that’s a big yes. Congrats!

One thing that just makes me so happy is to let my kids around together in the newbie zone, each on his own machine (actually on my computer and on dad’s. We have two accounts so my husband and I can play together when he has time.) About a week ago little brother was on his orc shaman and big brother was on his brand new orc hunter. They were so excited when little brother figured out how to heal his big brother. Makes a mother proud.

  27. Vurag on August 3rd, 2008 1:17 pm

Hope all is well with old and young =)

    Congratulations, BRK!

  33. shotgunpete on August 3rd, 2008 1:39 pm

    Congrats! :)

  38. Lalori on August 3rd, 2008 2:42 pm

A faint line is still a line! Grats!

  39. Macsnig on August 3rd, 2008 2:45 pm

That’s like a hanging chad!!! Being a fellow Floridian we know all about the hanging chads… I smell a blood test in the future.

  40. Wiltfang on August 3rd, 2008 3:04 pm

    Congratulations BRK,

As people have said the second line is always lighter, and if it seems really light it’s possible that your wife’s hormone level is slightly lower than the threshhold of the test itself, but the results are still the same.

  41. Pike on August 3rd, 2008 3:17 pm

That’s what we call showin’ The Beast Within. ;D

    (don’t hurt me)

  42. severkill on August 3rd, 2008 3:24 pm

Congrats!!! That faint line is a positive. Trust me, we just found out 7 wks ago we are having our 2nd child. ;) I looked and looked, then came back the next morning and looked again. When we had our first doctor’s appt, she confirmed it! :D So congrats again!!

P.S. At least you will have a little one to help out this time around! ;)

  43. Echo on August 3rd, 2008 3:57 pm

    BRK and the Mrs.,

    Congratulations.

Here’s to IRL adventures! The 18 year+ kind.

WOW! Congratulations to you and Mrs. BRK! Another little kitty to the mix!

  45. Zool on August 3rd, 2008 4:10 pm

For the love of Steve, what have you done to Hobbes you evil, evil man!

hehe – Grats! I guess this is the next step to an army of gun-tottin, funnytastingcoffee-swillin, horde-molestin, dps-in toons in WoW.

Ps: euurgh! You had sex… Bleuargh – What is TJ going to say?

  46. Brissinger on August 3rd, 2008 4:23 pm

Congratulations! All the best to Mrs. BRK! Oh, and you too ;)

Better break it to Hobbes gently – you know how pets can get when they’re about to be neglected….don’t want him pulling aggro in Hyjal just to get some attention.

  47. Evil Sheep on August 3rd, 2008 4:30 pm

    Some lines to practice:

    Where is your sibling?
    Leave your sibling alone!!
For Pete’s sake, let your sibling out of the freaking closet!!
Your sibling had it first, now be nice!!

    Congratulations BRK and Mrs. BRK.

  48. Conflict on August 3rd, 2008 4:37 pm

    Congrazzers!!!
And the whole not rolling fathers class isnt 100% true. My dads main is a feral drood, my drood is 2nd only after my hunter.

  49. Nick S. on August 3rd, 2008 4:40 pm

your poll is missing the “sorta” option!

but congrats. i look forward to seeing your child run a successful hunter until age 15, at which point he or she will reroll rogue and start listening to death metal. :-P

  50. Sheepbreaker on August 3rd, 2008 5:05 pm

Big congrats! The line is usually faint when you take the test early, and a second test will confirm that it is, in fact, time to freak out. My husband and I are expecting our first–I can’t wait until a couple years down the road, when the little one is old enough to farm raid food for Mommy.

  51. Erthshade on August 3rd, 2008 5:07 pm

    Following up on Nick S.:
… and then at 20 get bored of rogue, maybe try warlock for a few levels, but eventually realize hunter is the True Way.

Either that or roll druid and get disowned. Foshizzle.

  52. Dechion on August 3rd, 2008 5:17 pm
  53. Soulkill on August 3rd, 2008 6:12 pm

Big Gratz to both of you. Crossing my fingers for a new little Warlock soon. My two girls were very solid 2 lines so not to sure.

  54. Merced & Expendable on August 3rd, 2008 6:31 pm

“JUST HOW THE HECK DID THIS HAPPEN?! We demand an investigation.”

    simple.

    1. insert
    2. thrust
    3. see step 2

On a side note, gratz to Mrs. BRK and BRK.

  55. Haiko on August 3rd, 2008 6:45 pm

A faint line is easy to interpret:
You are only a little bit pregnant.

Congrats, you’ll get a very small baby, best name him after your favourite gnome ^^

  56. Wamo on August 3rd, 2008 7:03 pm

    Congrats! :D

  60. Peter on August 3rd, 2008 7:38 pm

    Grats BRK!

But i think its a good time to think that wow and another kid might not go well together.. and might start thinking of all the new time it will take to raise other little one.. just saying mate

  61. Cheetara on August 3rd, 2008 8:05 pm

Trust me BRK, a faint line means pregnant… it is damn near impossible to get a false positive!

I have seen that super faint line… I took fourteen tests that night… they all had that faint line… EVERY one of them :)

    Congratulations Big Red Daddy!

  62. Cheetara on August 3rd, 2008 8:07 pm

oh,I forgot to mention.. in order to get hobbs used to the baby… you should probably bring home one of the blankets and let him smell it… don’t want hobbs running away now do you?

  63. Azlen on August 3rd, 2008 9:08 pm

Been nice knowin ya BRK… WoW will miss you when you are gone lookin’ after baby (and its not far off)..best start thinkin about an heir to your online kingdom now…:)

  66. rehnkvist on August 3rd, 2008 10:16 pm

perhaps a little red kitten… i wish you all the best, should it be on the way.

or course, one could interpret this post to mean you and not the mrs took the test. it does make me think: wouldn’t it make a cool mythbusters to have adam and jamie try to get false positives on a pregnancy test?

  67. Papaoomowmow on August 3rd, 2008 10:35 pm

You are now automatically exalted with EVERY faction.

  77. Lynx on August 4th, 2008 6:11 am

Congratulations Mr. and Mrs. BRK. Your about to see the difference between having one kid and now two . I wish you two much happiness and patience. :P

  78. Narian on August 4th, 2008 8:00 am

    umm . . . ummm . . . is that a BRK related test?

If it is congrats on the new little one. Also I hope it is not a horde, that might make the dwarf-horde dynamic difficult.

  79. T-Sonn on August 4th, 2008 8:06 am

Congratulations? Oh, and no worries about mixing WoW and new babies. The first baby can pretty much keep an eye on the new one, warn it away from light sockets and choking hazards and such. Just install a formula-drip in the crib and it can feed at will. A grate in the bottom of the crib will help keep baby clean and dry. Have a BRK contest to win babysitting rights! You’ll be fine.

    On a serious note – yeah, right – congratulations, you’re definitely preggers. /hug /highfive

  86. fatal on August 4th, 2008 11:54 am

  87. Skarlarth on August 4th, 2008 12:17 pm

    Congrats BRK!

As a father of 3, let me tell you there are NO false positives, only false negatives. If she has the hormone, you’re in the family way!

    Enjoy.

  92. Kaelysta on August 4th, 2008 2:28 pm

Anyways, a big congrats to you and Mrs. Bigredkitty!

  95. Dehrian on August 4th, 2008 4:11 pm

congratulations to you both! my wife and i are still waiting for the “not” to disappear from the next of those fancy shmancy digital style ones. after trying them once i just wont buy the regular line-kind anymore.

  96. Zball on August 4th, 2008 4:18 pm

    Baby’s first words?

    Fo’shizzle.

    This has to happen.

  97. Rob on August 4th, 2008 5:16 pm

Ding! Gratz hunter brother. Did you know the earliest test was to inject the urine of a pregnant woman into a adult Xenopus frog? If the frog lays eggs then the woman is pregnant. See, the hormones and basic process is the same, evolutionary conserved through…500 million years? Give or take a few million.

  98. Curtis on August 4th, 2008 5:17 pm

How did you have time for this!?!?!

Grats! And there’s pretty much no other way for that second line to appear. No matter how faint.

  99. Pablo on August 4th, 2008 5:42 pm

My wife (15year critical care ICU nurse) took one look at that and said “Nope, not based on just that test.” So, congrats in case she’s wrong! (I’ll be sure to pass on I-told-you-so’s)

  100. Athzar on August 4th, 2008 6:51 pm

    BRK,

Demand an investigation? Would that involve sending a team of explorers in to investigate?

    That’s probably how it happened.

  106. Armond on August 5th, 2008 8:48 am

    @Vurag: BoEF much? :D

@BRK, Mrs. BRK: Juno said “it looked more like a division sign than a plus sign.” And we all know how that movie ended. :P

  107. Gamermommy on August 5th, 2008 10:15 am

I would say a big congrats is in order. Faint or not, the line is there. :)

    P.S.
Sorry to hear about the piece of all our lifes name “thor” transferred servers. I had friend go thru the same experience. My major piece of reason and point to what has just happened, is it was a natural event to take place, neither her body nor life was ready for this magical growth to move on any furture. This gives both of you a chance to really prepare for such a grand life changing moment. Just keep in mind that 50% of the health of the baby that does login, its up to the BigRedDaddy. Be glad to help power level him… i haven have epxerience for him!!!! Thank again for sharing your lifes with so many, i hope you fell as good about it as i do, might just make a sight like yours, with a ghost wolf twist!
