Hmmm, ‘Four Death Knights and a Hunter’, that would make a killer 90’s British romantic comedy film title, possibly with Hugh Grant and Colin Firth et al. in it.

Oh and I’m just throwing this out here, but does anyone else feel the zone title is pronounced Nag-rand (like sag-hand), rather than BRK’s usage of “Nuhgrande”?

Any comment on what kind of MQSRDPS we might expect for a typical BM build at whatever level you are currently at?

My guild pronounces it Na-grand, same as BRK.

Yeah, I pronounce it the same way Dob. To each his own though. Interesting video BRK, I have been wondering myself what tree is geared towards tanking for DKs.

I’m excited by the prospect of being able to zoom to 80 while all the Death Kniggets chug through Outland, crying because they have no healers.

Perhaps I’ll keep my Priest or Paladin in Outland and charge exorbitant sums to heal instance runs…

You probably want to misdirect at whichever one has Frost Presence or Aura or whatever coming off him/her, since that’s the mitigation aura/presence/thing. It’s the blue one, I know that. Either way, I have a plan to do everyone on Kul Tiras a big favor… I’m saving my Holy Priest at level 60 to help all of my friends who want to play Death Knights to survive!

I say Nuhgrand, myself. It’s more… I don’t know, phonetically pleasing? That’s just the way I’ve said it since I first saw it, is all.

Any plans on starting up a little Big Red Ghoul subsection, BRK? :P

Always been saying NAH-grand. I know some say Nah-GRANDE. It is all about which syllable you put emphasis on.

About the movie. Appreciate the effort, but it certainly wasn’t for me. I like ot see skills at work, things that are changed. This could have been one of so many showoff movies out there from TBC. Not interesting.

Of course it is interesting to see things at work in a real setting. But this one just didn’t cut it.

I have mixed emotions about both Death Knights and Chimeras…

first with the Death Knights, all of the people I’ve spoken to on Beta praise it, but I haven’t grouped with one or tried one yet, and I’ve had to save a level 71 and 72 Death Knight in Howling Fjord from a large group of lvl 70-72 non elites that my warp stalker basically tanked… (yes I picked a Warp Stalker for now, with the Tank tree talents and it’s warp ability its very very efficient =D).

As far as the Chimera, I’m still trying to get my crits up, 3600 is the highest I’ve seen, but I seen how uber Brk’s was, “the trick is to get as many buffs on him at once, Bestial Wrath etc.” So I’m Thinkin’ of bustin’ out my Devilsaur eye, it doesn’t guarantee a crit anymore, gives like 5 base agility (lol) and increases your pets attack by 200 for so many seconds. wish I had Beast Tamer shoulders…
1 thing though, is I’m not sure these will get a nerf, on the downtime between their 3-5k crits they do average if not less than average damage, and I think those big crits might be directed at PVP, along with the slowing affect.

    just some thoughts =D

Frost Presence (blue skull sparkly) is ostensibly the tanking presence. That said, I’ve tanked a few times in Blood; unless you’re dealing with srs content, I don’t think it really makes a massive difference. Stuff tends to die so fast that it’s really hard to work out whether it’s increasing your survivability or not.

Secondly, all you healers can just stay in Northrend and level if you want; we don’t need ya! I’ve done four instance runs so far with all Death Knights. As long as you have a few blood-specced DKs in there, having a healer becomes a convenience, not a necessity. :D

That said, it usually involves quite a few corpse runs when the group doesn’t grok the concept of aggro ping-pong. :S

First, the gnome death knight was adorable…

Second… when the Chimera goes down, and comes back up… she gets all those “verge of death” buffs doan she? Good lord, that’s gonna be a nasty tactic…

I pronounce Nagrand like BRK does but it doesn’t matter as long as people know what you’re talking about. I think everyone’s gonna be so sick of DKs a week into WoTLK that you’ll see people go back to what they did in the BC. Oh and Pallys and Warriors will probably try to kill DKs on sight.

BRK, the bolts from your crossbow have bright white trails, almost like tracer rounds. Do you know if this is from ramping up your spell detail setting?

    BTW
    It’s pronounced Nuh-GRIND
Ok, maybe it’s not. But it should be.
