They’re gonna nerf this to hell and back before it goes live, but it’s still pretty awesome.

That’s such a beautiful thing. I bet hunters are rocking the battlegrounds. *sigh* Now, if only I could get a beta key before this gets nerfed…

Note to self: Save my Divine Shield for when BRK goes all BRK/C (Big Red Kitty/Chimaera) on me.

    It’s called bubble-hearth for a reason =D
    Long live the chimaera!

In my opinion the 4k and 5k crits should be the reason to spec for the 51. Hoping they don’t nerf.

    It’s called bubble-hearth for a reason

Please note that we hit the pally with Intimidation. After the Chimaera landed it, the pally performed no more active spells; he was stunned and then died. We killed the guy before the Intimidation wore off.

Can a pally bubble while stunned? /stumped

I wouldn’t be surprised if they could bubble while stunned. They can do just about everything else that won’t allow you to kill them.

  11. The Lords Breed on August 21st, 2008 7:09 pm

Paladins can bubble while stunned, and while silenced. They cannot bubble while counterspelled/locked out.

Also, what is triggering Eye for an Eye from the paladin? If it was the breath weapon, it would of proc’d off the 4k crits.

EDIT: Ah, I see, they changed it to work off ANY critical, and the breaths did not crit, but your normal attacks and abilities did.

This is going to make fast attack speed classes be torn apart by ret paladins, with ret aura and eye for an eye. O.O

We were somewhere near the Borean Tundra, at the edge of the terrain, when the drugs began to take hold.

(Sorry, first thing I thought of.)

there are some screenshots of it doing 20k + damage as well but against some really low targets

Now if only I could get a hold of a beta key that wasn’t already used, then I could see what would happen if I turned a chimera on my husband’s paladin. /evilgrin

While downloading the beta next patch, I so foresee this numbers being “normalized”.
