Orcapalooza Rained Out, Rescheduled

What a mess.
We’ve been out of work for a week, our son has been in school, then out of school, then back in school, and now out of school again. Someone broke into Mrs BRK’s office last night, using the storm as cover. We were told we might be working today, but nobody is really sure.
Orcapalooza-planning has been crushed; we can’t possibly get the event off tomorrow.
One week delay, that’s what we’re doing.
Orcapalooza, Saturday, August 30th. Argent Dawn US server, 7:00pm EDT (11:00GMT). If TJ can’t make it, we understand and apologize. She’ll be jet-lagged but we’re very hopeful.
We’re scrapping the team-concept. It’s out. And unless people scream bloody-murder, we’re cutting the event down to one hour from two.
We’re still doing the scavenger hunt, though. Solo-effort, on your part. The list of stuff to get will be posted 24 hours prior to the start of the race. Hopefully, Bloodmoon Choosen will still be available to provide level 70s to hide and shirts to distribute. We’re just going to ask them to hide in areas no higher than level 10.
A note on the screenshots: your character must be in the screenshot with the level 70 Bloodmoon Chosen toon, and you must be ALIVE. You will not receive credit for corpse-running everywhere and taking screenshots.
The solo-scavenger hunter should rock! The top five finishers will receive prizes, the #1 winner getting first pick of the Warcraft Millionaire package, the game cards from WoWMacros, and the one of the two boxes of WoW trading cards from RedScorpionGames. The #2 winner gets the next pick, etc., until there’s just one prize left for the 5th place winner.
But right now, we’ve just get to empty the pool a bit before it overflows into the house.

Fear not on our end. We will have the shirts and hiders available whenever you decide to hold the event. As Mortious stated, we have already farmed up over 10,000 pieces of mageweave.
Great job on your site. I don’t play a hunter at all and I still frequent your site and have even re-posted some of your video’s for educational purposes for some of our runs. They are highly entertaining and very informative.
I am very much looking forward to the event and I hope the skies clear up soon for you down there.

I was just in Orlando for 10 days doing some drawings outdoors (yeah, they needed to be done outdoors, unfortunately), so the Tropical Storm did make that rather difficult. I feel ya, man.
Hey BRK I’m over here in Tampa and we’ve gotten barely anything from this quirky, crazy, emo chick of a storm. Hope yall get cleared up pretty soon. And keep up those vids, I’m in beta but they’re definitely fun to watch and listen too since I haven’t had the chance to check alot of stuff out during my quest grinding.
Yeah, I’m in Orlando too, and it stopped raining for the first time in days this morning, then started again like an hour later. >.<
I really want to make it to Orcapalooza, I love the Orc starting area, but I work Saturday. If that changes, I’ll totally be there.

I have a question . When we start we need to do the quests and need to kill the boars and such to gain this items for the hunt. Not sure by the way you state no killing on you site .
