If there’s an option, perhaps the wow sound files could be a touch louder?
*sigh* Bad midi bagpipes are still bad midi bagpipes. The voiceover and WoW sound clips work well, but for the love of God put it over real piping!!!
@Jez: I can pot the WoW vocals back up. I didn’t realize that the compression encoding dropped them that much, in Garageband they were overpoweringly loud.
@Siobhann: Do you have ANY idea how hard it is to find real bagpipes that don’t have a ton of background crap going on?
Seriously, I looked for hours and couldn’t come up with anything.
I think BRK said he’s not “bagpipes”, anyways. I await him saying what he IS, though, because without direction I’m just running in circles.
So said the BRK:

So, what is a hunter? Frankly, when you say “hunter music”, all I can think of is Deliverance…
Edit: And yes, that is a full 21-gun salute, 7 tracks, 3 shots each, with L/R balance tweaked to make them semi-distinct.
I love Garageband.
I’ll second that the voices need to be a bit louder, or the music needs to be a little bit quieter, but otherwise I think this one was excellent! The fireworks were fantastic and the hobbsian roar was brilliant!

With Siobhann, I would love real ‘pipes, but if BRK isn’t for bagpipes, at least he isn’t keeping the cr@p he had used.
This is awesome though, the gun and growl, fabulous! The growl is from in game, and ok for being short, it is an authentic sounding kitty sound.
You may want to tweak it a little because it is hard to tell what he is yelling in the middle but overall it is great.
I like it.

and I like the pipes… but I’m partial to the music o’ me family’s motherland… which means: Get recordings of the real thing!
Well done! The other one sounded like one of those monster truck radio advertisements from the 80’s.
At the very least, hold on to the gun sound effects, and “FIRE!” and such. Thats good stuff.

I think that is very usable.
The only thing I don’t like (but can live with) is the end bit about the chit chat. chit chat is exactly what I expect BRK to get to at that point.
now for the out roll music I would being with the “Now that is enough of the chit chat lets get to it” maybe followed by the roar and the 21 guns and Fire maybe a fox hunt horn

I love the bagpipes, and the gun fire and Hobbe’s roar is wonderful.
I do hope the bagpipe music stays, it just seems so very fitting for a dwarf hunter. WoW is a RolePlaying game after all
BRK, I don’t care if you aren’t bagpipes - Use this somewhere! With some tweaking on timing for certain things this could definitely be an outroll clip, and I think it’d be great to hear it used. It is too bad real bagpipe music is hard to find, because a good bagpipe is amazing to hear. Oh well, not much to be done unless a reader can play and wants to remake this tune with the real thing!
