You know it, baby! Saturday, 30 August 2008. Your level-one and zero-XP orc, (any class, either gender, NO TROLLS), a couple hundred friends, Argent Dawn US server, and Bloodmoon Chosen with free shirts for everybody!
(AND BAGS, BMC!! IF YOU CAN MAKE THEM!!! WE FORGOT TO ASK YOUR TAILORS TO MAKE BAGS!! AAYYYYEEE!!! A couple bushels of six or eight-slotters would be awesome.)
Until the starting time, you can mill-about, run amok, be silly, whatever. STAY IN THE STARTING AREA. GET NO XP. DO NOT QUEST. DO NOT KILL ANYTHING.
You can get quests, if you want. That’s fine. Just no XP and no killing anything.
And at 7:30pm EDT (11:30 GMT) we start! Woohoo!
You have one hour to find as many things on our the BRK Orcapalooza Loot List as you can. Try to find the people from Bloodmoon Chosen scattered about Durotar, get screenshots with you and them together, (both of you alive, foshizzle!)
After ONE HOUR, time is UP and the scavenger hunt is OVER.
Count many items you found and how many of BMC-folks you found. Send us a quick email with those numbers in the Subject. Attach a screenshot of your open bags and all your screenshots of the BMC-folks. Optimize and compress your screenies all you like, that’s all good. Want to send us just one .zip file? Go for it.
You have TEN MINUTES to send us your email!! No email with a send-time after 8:40pm EDT will be accepted.
Each item on the list is worth a point. Each Bloodmoon Chosen screenshot is with is worth five points. The people with the top 5 point-totals WIN!

Whats the time server time cos I’m always getting confused between Eastern , Greenwich Mean etc. As for getting quests be careful as the first one you get gives xp.

Though, mind if I make a suggestion? Kron’s Amulet could be like a bonus item, cause it’s the objective of a lvl 11 quest. It’s attainable at level 8, but I don’t know if anyone’s going to manage to get to it. Maybe it could be worth more points?
Actually, now that I’m looking at it there’s quite a few quest items that’d tough to get that quickly. I dunno though

Oh, sorry. I had this confused with the Okrapalooza festival in Selma, AL.
Hey, orcs and okra have a lot in common. They’re both green, pungent, smart as any other vegetable, and turn to jelly when boiled.
If I can make it, I’ll try, but being that my niece’s birthday party is today, I can only say “maybe”.

I can’t work out how to do the screen shots. Print screen doesn’t work. I’m giving up. Going to run around smiling at people instead.

My wife and I went as a team, which is probably not entirely kosher. But we had fun anyway!
We didn’t really expect to enjoy it that much. Treasure hunts are not usually our bag, but it ended up being more interesting than we expected.
