    OMG. *faints*

Make a video with The Kurken, it’s tameable, please! And name it Fluffy!

Awesome! Thanks for putting up a video so fast!

  4. Donjio on September 6th, 2008 1:06 am

I find it hilarious that Corehound + Bestial Wrath is bigger than Devilsaur + Bestial Wrath.
I’m sure once the Devilsaur has 3x Monstrous Bite going on, it’ll be bigger, but that’s just funny. :)

  5. Erionn on September 6th, 2008 2:22 am

Hah, I thought I remembered seeing a core hound and devilsaur standing near each other in shat, and then I saw myself in the video :D

Your next goal should be to get a MC core hound.

  6. Rilgon Arcsinh on September 6th, 2008 2:37 am

OH MY GOD IT MAKES THE MOLTEN CORE ANCIENT CORE HOUND NOISE WHILE IT ATTACKS

    *squees*

  7. Raien on September 6th, 2008 2:54 am

OMG so getting the Kurken. And I shall name it George. And I will hug him and love him and kiss him and play with him and….

    …what?

  8. Kristy on September 6th, 2008 3:06 am

Awww, you didn’t talk as much as you usually do, in this video.

  9. Evea on September 6th, 2008 5:05 am

WOW he doesn’t drool when he walks…. Icky nasty drool….

  10. Xanthelei on September 6th, 2008 6:07 am

So. Freaking. Cool. And yes, as a Draenei hunter, I will have to tame the Kurken if he is indeed tameable.

Question (though I think I know the answer): If you spec 51 BM, tame say, a devilsaur, then spec out of 51 BM, is that pet you tamed abandoned, or just unsummonable/can’t take it out of the stables?

Inquiring minds need to know! :D

  11. Rykros on September 6th, 2008 6:56 am

err, im afraid that since its exotic and the BM talent isn’t available till 60-ish, you won’t be able to get a kurken early on.

    @Kristy

BRK said in the beginning that Mrs BRK was trying to sleep, thus the silence.
However, your commentary is so funny, it is really missed!
    Anyway, very cool.

    EAT A’DAL. EAT A’DAL.

  14. Winter on September 6th, 2008 10:36 am

First movie where I downloaded the full version.. and showed it to wifey… she really doesnt get wow.. but even she thought it was a cool pet.

    rockin job

    PS I wanna see fluffy

  15. McJobby on September 6th, 2008 10:45 am

Pretty cool pet, but what I found the most funny was the group of players running behind it when it was making circles in Shatt.

  16. Vulpinor on September 6th, 2008 11:41 am

Granted it looks freakin’ cool, but a 10 second cast time slowing? Does anybody else start thinking “Puppy, SIC TEH HEALERZ!” Pushback, big red droolmonster and a cast time slowing = win in arenas. Can’t wait for one of these guys.

And you know all the cool kids will have a red one. :)

Kunukia: Aaah, okay, thank you Kunu.

Love the site and the videos. You were too quiet in this one though! Your commentary is part of the charm :)

  19. Rilgon Arcsinh on September 6th, 2008 9:12 pm

    “EAT A’DAL. EAT A’DAL.”

Funny, I was thinking that too. XD

Is the “BigRedKitty Molten Core Ancient Core Hound Taming Adventure/Hunter Guide Movie” still coming? :D

  20. batgrl on September 7th, 2008 5:33 am

I took some shots with Kurken – and the three other people who tamed him around the same time:
    http://hooha.org/BlogDetail.php?pg=119

The one nice thing is that the Kurken’s aura – or whatever you want to call the cloud of smoke that trails after the core hounds – is white and mostly clear, so no vision obscuring effects.

I can’t wait to help guildfolk do MC runs for those hounds – lots of nostalgia there!

  21. Bilgrim on September 7th, 2008 10:58 am

    EEP

    And I thought I wanted a Devilsaur

    /cunfused

At the same time I noticed your still using the hidious parrot .. no guns yet? Damn

I keep expecting to see an orc or tauren on it’s back with some drums. It sounds like drums where it walks.

  24. Curmudgeon on September 8th, 2008 10:36 am

Looks useful, intimidating, and fun for PvP, and as a novelty. Otherwise, I think something that big will obscure the view in many places – especially instances. I know hunters with raptor and bat pets have bugged me in Karazhan for that reason, and they’re a lot smaller.

That being said, great movie, and I will want to tame one to play with. :)

  25. Riz on September 8th, 2008 12:43 pm

So what stops someone from specing BM…taming an exotic pet…then repecing to something else. Would you loose the pet? Or do you just have to be BM to train it then your welcome to repec. Any Idea?

  26. Gades on September 9th, 2008 3:52 pm

When you spec out of bm you can’t get the exotic pet out of the stables

  27. Anonymous on September 23rd, 2008 4:26 pm

can someone help me decide on whether a core hound or devilsaur would be better at non arena pvp

  28. Anonymous on October 16th, 2008 6:22 pm

Eyes of the Beast = It looks like a Tank, the kind with the large gun.
