Nice video. I know a marksmanship hunter who is currently using a wolf and swears by it for raiding–he can’t wait to get that fancy new wolfie. Not sure about the bird of prey for PvP…for battlegrounds, perhaps, but in 2v2 and 3v3, it’d be awful to bring in a bird of prey, only to discover that a priest/mage/warlock is about to melt off your face.

Cool, moar pets for people to 2 shot in pvp.
Borri i have yet to see my pet get 2 shoted by anything cept a ret pally so far (they can just about 2 shot me so most dont even bother) Tenacity pets especially, i grow tired of all the negative hunters out there.
My L80 Hunter has been destroying others in the Beta in PvP. It’s all about keeping your distance and playing it smart.
I was just about to write to you asking if a Tenacity pet could tank a Fel Reaver.
Unbelievable, honestly.
Uvuros was already a tough challenge, this Fel Reaver going down has put a permanent smile on my face.
What level were you? And the pet?
P.S. – At first, when I saw you flying over the Fel Reaver and talking about bears, it reminded me of a very old bug where the Reaver had a bear skin for a while, and a very old post of yours about the Fel Rever pet joke. For a second I thought “he’s gonna tame the Reaver”.
IS the bear better then the rhino?
Could you do a Crocolisk video? I know, another tenacity pet. But I would like to see Bad Attitude in action tanking multiple targets.

Very nice again BRK, you are always a fun visit. …Well it’s either a worm or a bear for me, but I just can’t decide yet. I’m going to have to try them each out and see. If every hunter leveling has a bear, I’ll probably go worm just to be different, and vice versa, but wow does it look like some serious fun.

Alright, I’ve been watching the procs and your pet bar to see what talents you’ve spec’d for you and your pet. I’ve seen some of them but you’ve gotta cough it up. Give us an idea of a lvling build that works for you in beta.
Btw, I’ve noticed the speed buff from Separation Anxiety only occasionally works on the PTR due to the fact that your pet is hardly able to keep up with you. I have a feeling this is due to lag caused by overpopulation, but I’d like to know if you’re having an issue in beta.

Nice… I remember getting pummeled by those Fel Reavers on my mage when I first got to Outland, and always wanted to seek out my revenge. Might have to go back and do just that once I gain a few levels in Wrath. =)
On a hunter note, I just got mine to Outland last night. Really hoping to have better luck with those damned Reavers this time around….
So how exactly did bears go from the ‘loser’ side of your ‘toss-up’ group to being one of the best tanking options in the game? Very generous of you, since nothing about them changed, I don’t think. The same CAN’T be said for wolves, since furious howl has been changed entirely, yet you don’t even mention that…

For the post above I’m very surprised that there might be a new pet, yourself said that the circle was complete with these being 2 exotic pets for each talent tree. U gotta check this out(I hope u read our posts) we await your discovery!!!!

Hey BRK, what is the state of Gorillas in Wrath? it seems like the new talent system for pets and their Thunderstomp ability would make them great tanks in wrath. I have been really curious to see how they work out!
It’s nice to see a filmed example of some of the new pet models–the demonic wolf model seems to be a recolor of the BRD Bloodhounds.
May I submit a request to get a visual preview of the other new wolf/worg model? (this kind: http://petopia.brashendeavors.net/wotlk/skins/skin_worggray.php) They have a nice style “on paper” but I’ve yet to see a good video of them in action that isn’t buried in a preview of an entire zone, which is not quite what I want to see.

How do I get that yummy 1190 mend pet? Got my Tenacity pet out on PTR atm (a Croc, but I think it’s all the same) with 2 points in Blood of the Rhino.
I am Surv spec and not BM atm, but that 10% extra from Spirit bond doesn’t seem enough to count for my tick being only 665. What have I missed? Is there a higher rank of Mend pet in-game for WotlK beta? (I’m using rank 8 btw).

brk im amalso in the beta, just wanted to tell you, viper now gives twice the percentage of your ranged weapon speed in % as mana, no more uber damage to mana

BRK, I just got onto the PTR (I know, its not a Beta, but my brother is hogging my account since he doesnt have a 70) and I was playing around with my Wolf and he casted Bite which hit for 139 damage, non-crit. Did Blizzard say anything about pet ability stacking with Hunter AP or any AP they recieve at all? Cause I dont recall that, and it seems the Bite is now Scaling with AP.
