Two Ew’s
This is our first gun quest reward. Not sayin’ it’s ugly, but… d@mn.
No, we didn’t replace our xbow with it. We haven’t replaced any gear, other than one tricket, two times. We have found hunter-gear with more armor, but it has always had zero Intellect. We’re not trading Mana for Armor, that’s for certain.
And then we had a rather exciting Pun Moment, one we’re sure for which The GM would have no problem giving his approval.
So what else are we up to? We dinged 75, all for you. We busted a move to get through 74, eighteen bubbles. Yes, we’re getting a Spirit Beast after one more level, and then you’ll get your movie. Just hold yer hats!
As it is, we’re going to get a level 75 gorilla next and let him tear up the next zone, just for kicks.
Is Bear not worthy? Of course he is!! We’ll tell a quick story, without giving too much Wrath away.
A level 74 BRK and his Bear teamed up with a 75 boomkin and a 75 rogue who was sporting dual warglaives to take on a 75 elite boss who was the culmination of a 3-person quest. Bear held aggro on the boss, didn’t even need to use his Taunt. Both the rogue and the druid expressed their disbelief that Bear could tank that beyotch. We were totally pumped!
And that Ursoc guy? Yeah, Bear tanked-n-spanked him too.

I’m also a beta-tester and it’s the first time that another hunter comments on beta hunter items not having intellect on them…
That’s a bit cr@p isn’t it? Someone should tell Blizz… If tghe y want us to be a caster class we should get equipped with items that give Intellect as well…

I think it’s good that Blizz are giving interesting models as quest rewards… I’d rather that (actually this – semanicts though
) than any of the boring gun models that are out there…
Anyway, what are you complaining about? You’re currently running round with a parrot-on-a-stick for a crossbow!

So I pose this question…Not that it effects us that much but what is the clear cut line that says x gear is for x class (mage gear and not holy priest or elemental shamy and not resto)
or is it now truly a 100% free for all….If so the ninja’s are back again…

It most certainly isn’t pretty, but it IS pretty cool. It has the uglyness of Tuskbreaker, but with more style. I like it, even if I don’t particularly want it.
It is great to see Blizzard is giving even ‘generic’ questrewards interesting skins. I’m tired of the same-old same-old every time. This is good. Props for that.
I’d describe that gun as “deliciously ugly.”
I’m a bit concerned that Blizz won’t have any headroom to make cooler-looking high-end items, since the low-end stuff looks pretty great.
Just a thought on taming Gorrillas…
You can get one from lvls 50-55 in Un’Goro Crater.

Noobish Question (my wow ignorance is VAST)
Unless flying on a taxi, how do you take a screenshot of your character in the game from anything but behind or above? How did BRK get that shot?

Hold the left mouse button and move your mouse to move the camera around. or is it the right mouse button?
try one and if that does not work try the other.
Ugh, I love the bears so damn much…it gladdens my heart to see them put back in use. The very first WoW cinematic always stuck with me. =) Now the question is, “black bear, grizzly bear, or polar?”
It’s nice that green guns have a spiffy graphic rather than just the ‘look, it’s a rifle’ kind of appearance. I don’t mind the ugly, just the boring. And I’ll take anything over that ugly chicken xbow I use.
Well but it’s a GUN! Not a silly cross-breed between a parrot and a flower.
It will go BANG instead of pfff and smoke will rise. This will now be my first priority to get. And if I’m not mistaken it’s from a quest that starts at Boran Tundra (Starting area I think/hope) so I can get it asap AND grab my Rhino on the way. 11.13.08 will be a great day for us Dwarves

You can also go into your interface and assign a key to toggle “flip camera”. On PVP realms it’s great to use to see what’s following you! Also good for quick screenshots.
I wouldn’t say that gun was ugly either. In fact, I wouldn’t say anything mean about it at all, for fear it might come for me while I was asleep. . . .

Have the demented florist bow…that has to be the alltime record for truly ugly. (and I do miss a good ol noisy gun)
The only reason that gun looks ugly is because a dwarf is holding it. That gun clearly belongs in the hands of a troll!
Incidently, am I imagining it, or is your bear’s mouth closed? The one gripe I had with bears is their lockjaw. I might well grab one now.
If bear mouths would close, I would totally get one. Other than that, I love the bear look.

The first quest reward bow is so pretty I did replace my crossbow with it. Buuuut I love bows and its beta, so I figured, “why not?”
And as to the bear, Ive leveled a bear up from the begining with this char, I ran over to loch modan and snatched up a bear and Ive had him ever since, even though theyve been behind the curve. Now he will actually be useful! Hurrah!

If I’m not mistaken, that pic caught the bear in its idle animation during which it looks side to side with its mouth closed.
No, the bear model has been changed. It now keeps its mouth closed when standing idle, and open when running and attacking.
So what’s it going to be come expansion time .. a bear, a gorilla, or a rhino? Red, which tank will you be using come November 13?
yo, i is in the beta…after doing some testing…i can EASILY say that gorillas are teh diggity when doing aoe farming…my testing was minor and closed to the area i tamed him in, but i had about 9-12 mobs of his own level beating on him, and i could just aoe them down, it was great… im going monkey but for official expansion

Well the gun is… special. Don’t you think it’s look is from one of the new instances? I’m not sure, but I think I’ve seen that look somewhere else… but not on a gun.
Gorillas are just way too cool now as the bear and the crocco…

It’s a bleed effect. Well that’s what Wowhead says. I would like to know more about it because I’m not really inclined to change my cat for something else.

I haven’t gotten dps meter testing, but I can tell from the PTR that cats will put out more DPS than they currently do. It certainly holds threat a little better, though whether from the additional damage or from tweaks to growl I cannot say.
BRK, if you can find a level 75 gorilla i tip my hat to ya bro. I’ve scoured Sholazar three times, including culing entire spawns trying to get a 75 to pop up, they’re all 76+. If you find one at 75, please post up, i’d like to know where he’s hiding.
It looks overly ornate like most Gil Hibben knives, but I like it’s style…
