Really cool! I was running around the beta and ran by the Spirit Beast with no one around. I saw you were online also and thought about telling you, but you were in Nagrand doing this video I assume, so I thought I’d just let it slide.
The Spirit Beast was there for over an hour before I saw a Troll shaman kill it. Oh well, I’m sure you’ll get him.

As a side note I dont think that the developers allowed stampede to knock someone off a cliff or bridge. I think i remember them saying that on the forums. I will have to search and confirm.

Shaman’s knockback spell was able to knock someone off the platforms in Terrokar a few weeks ago, but when I tried it with my druid and typhoon last week, they’d stop right on the edge. I pulled one right up against the edge, stood right up against him and ‘phooned, and he scooted slightly. I think they’ve ‘fixed’ the knock off…

It didn’t look like the stampede actually generated that much threat. Notice when BRK did his volley he gained a lot of aggro and had to FD to get them back on the rhino. With the gorilla, they stayed on the pet the entire time through the volley.

I have missed what BRK is using to heal his pets whenever he’s using volley. What is that ability?
So is it confirmed that this won’t bounce mobs off a cliff?
Also does that knock up/back work against other players? Like sending a rhino in on a flag AB and bouncing everyone.

Great movie. But what i think of rhino’s spell is that if we in an instance and need our tanking pet to save the party, then our rhino steps out tank the mob which on our healer (Great save), and then rhino kicks the mob……into another group of mobs which is about 15 yd behind(god knows how many groups in this 15 yd)……then wipe……
I was wondering where you were going with the music, the chorus had evidently escaped me until a few moments before it hit. When I realized what was coming I was already starting to grin, the BoOM! Flying Ogres, as I had (at least since the moment before) expected. Great stuff, thank you for the work you obviously put into these things, it is appreciated.

This is exactly what I did when I first got into the beta. Run to Borean Tundra, tame Rhino, begin flinging other rhinos! I’m getting one in live just so I can toss stuff around. LOVE this pet.

OMfreakingGod thats awesome! ok, have to get a rhino just so i can have that much fun. don’t care how practical it is. get bored every once in a while, then just go pull him out! And soooo wanting an arena that is nothing but sheer cliffs around you. maybe a giant lattice work above a gorge, like crisscrossing bridges. and pull out the rhino…..Now only if we could integrate pets into that new mount/vanity storage system as opposed to stables. not like warlocks don’t have that advantage right? btw BRK, loved the music, nice timing.

Very, very nicely done, BRK. For a fun mental image, I took my little PvP premade into a Strand of the Ancients match a few days ago, and I have to tell you, watching no less then five players go flying away from your rhino is a downright riot. Good times.

And for anyone asking whether or not stampeding mobs off a cliff kills them is situational. If you were to push a mob off the edge of Outland then it’s probably alive but not gonna come back up. If you were to push a mob off a cliff in Nagrand then it would possibly follow the “warp stalker theory”. The warp-stalker theory is if your warp stalker accidentally warps it self off something (for example: the bridges in Skettis) then your lizard and the mob will continue to fight but the warp stalker won’t come back up until the mob dies. At that point the warp stalker ports itself up to the bridge. If you were to push a mob off the cliffs in Nagrand then the mob would possibly be able to attack your pet from the bottom of the cliff and the corpse (keep in mind this hasn’t been 100% proven yet cause Blizz won’t give me my beta key
) would port itself up to were he was engaged prior to “launch”. That or… if you want your Nether-weave cloth you better get your butt on that flying mount of yours cause it’s a looong way down 
once again BRK shows why he rules! I will definitely be saving a stable slot for the Rhino. We Win
