Saturday To-Do List
1. Break into YouTube’s Top 100 list. Check. (Rhino Bowling, who knew.)
2. Clean the sidewalk. Fail. Did 10 squares, it looked terrible. Gonna hire a guy.
3. Buy 2nd monitor. Check. 19″ LG Widescreen was inexpensive and looks nice next to the 24″ iMac.
4. Teach son to push off to ride his bike. Check. He is now around-the-block-solo capable.
5. Podcast. Check. Didn’t think we’d get to it, but the boy… well, we’ll talk about him later.
6. Sunday’s WoW Insider column. Check. Over 2600 words on pets.
7. Hunter tree columns, one for each talent-tree, for WoW Insider on Monday. Fail. Pooped.
8. Spirit Beast movie. Fail. Don’t ask.
9. Break level 79 on the beta. Check. We haz new, white, level 79 Rhino.
10. One more hunter-pet movie. Partial. Croc is done, need to get Bat and something else.
11. Don’t buy any Voss. Check. We refuse to break down and buy this, just because it’s incredible! We can resist; we were in a war. /flex
12. Kick self for missing obvious opportunity. Check. Holly is free of Hef, we should’ve taken her to Blizzcon. She could’ve been our pet Bunneh! (Link to Holly’s site removed. If you visited Holly’s site, check your computer for viruses. We received reports that her stuff is infected. Ew.)
13. Clean the pool. Fail. Too busy wandering the electronic store to go to the pool store. We played with an iMac recording studio with an M-Audio breakout-box, keyboard, electric guitar, and mic. Seriously, we need to quit our job and blog full-time. Anybody want to pay us to do this?
14. Take boy shopping. Fail. He wanted to play cars in his underwear. None of his jeans fit, which is why we need to go shopping.
15. Have a raspberry latte at our favorite coffee shop. Fail. They’ve been out of raspberry for a month. We b!tched them out.
16. Have a raspberry latte at our 2nd favorite coffee shop. Check. Free Wi-Fi FTW, too.
17. Get chicken fajitas for dinner. Fail. It was a must-go night. Had chicken pizza.
18. Resist buying iPhone 3G. Check. This is a daily to-do item.
19. Wash the Z. Fail. After #2, there was no way we were going near the garden hose again.
20. Write post about our to-do list. Check. With 48 minutes to spare.

* Mourning the loss of our Owl whom we’d rather have screech than snatch? check… Archimedes served us well…
* Looking at Raven models in Wrath that might eventually replace owl? check. We’ll still miss Archimedes.

just one item from my saturday list (and an AMAZING coincidence)
I’m an investor who has been,except for a couple little trades, out of the markets for quite awhile.
With the severe market woes, I was doing a little casual bargain hunting. Ran a stock screen for companies with above average industry profits, a very strong cash to debt ratio, that were trading at less than 50% of their nominal breakup value etc.
I do not know how many stocks the Scottrade screen examines, but I think its over 20 thousand…..in any6 case it is a slew.
Got 5 stocks that survived the screen. 4 of them were bank related, which means highly uncertain balance sheets (that is what is scaring banks away from lending to one another).
So the sole survivor? An ADR of a Chinese company that provides servers for Chinese gaming. Especially world of Warcraft….lolol. They just added a tenth server facility too. With LK coming, business is likely to improve rapidly, and its share price has been hammered by over 40% in lock step with the entire Chinese market in the last year.
Nahhh….not gonna buy it because I am too unfamiliar with the Chinese markets to be comfortable trusting their balance sheets either…..but I’ll probably regret that quite a bit eventually.
Sorry for such a meandering OT, but I did laugh right out loud when I saw the one stock out of thousands that survived the screen.
Sounds like some busy times! I’d be interested in how you manage to connect up the 19″ to your iMac… would like a similar setup, but I don’t know what I could use to connect them together… help?

Going to wait until the patch to get a Gorilla for my main.My alts all either have a gorilla/bear already or are partial to their current tanking pet for their play style.
Still can’t believe they are letting that buggy PoS go live,despite many bugs still in evidence including hunter bugs such as TBW and BW not working and buggy when they do or Cower turning itself back on firing off every time Growl is supposed to be firing.

I am replying now on one and I have been in love with it since I bought it. I had a Treo 780 before this and there is zero comparison. Besides deciding to get Lasik eye surgery, the iPhone is the second best decision I have ever made.
Keep resisting the Voss. Imported bottled water is more evil than Sargeras and Magtheridon combined.

You MUST buy the iPhone 3G. I haz one. It is teh secks. You will cry over its awesomeness and all the wow apps that they have, its just so nerdy, that its cool.
I think it was totally worth its 299 dollar price tag.
