We Find Ourselves in the Wierdest Places

Like Iowa.

We love to see who’s reading us and who’s got us bookmarked. That’s why we have hit-counters and refer-back trackers, and all the other tools to see just how we fit into this thing we call the BRK Blogosphere.

And sometimes we come across a reference to BRK the Blog that makes us feel like a lego in a jigsaw puzzle box.

Take Ancora Impario. She’s a librarian in Iowa. She plays WoW casually. She owns a cat. She owns a husband.

She linked to us on her blog. She’s not a WoW-blogger at all, she doesn’t link to anything else WoW-related, she has no screenshots of her character or WoWHead links to loot she’s earned. She’s just one of the eleven million addicts Blizzard has drugged into sending them $15 a month, Elune love her.

Nice to meet you, Cat B. /wave!

Totally cool BRK! You found Mrs. Thoryk. The jigsaw puzzle started when my friend got me addicted, and to become a somewhat decent player that could get into a dungeon I came to you for advice. The hunter tips, the macros and the talent spec information made me a preferred guildie to invite(even from the Guild Leader that hated hunters before) and the /daniel mode on stories made me laugh so hard that Mrs. Thoryk started reading you daily also. Keep up the great job,
    Thoryk, Misty(cat), Sherman(bear) and Blitz(gorilla)
(and the Nether Ray for dueling Mrs. Thoryk the lock) :-)

Woot! Big reader right here, Also from Iowa. Marion to be precise. It would seem to me that you have a rather huge following. Iowa can now lay claim to BRK as it claims corn, soybeans, and the birthplace of Captain Kirk (Riverside, has a nice casino too!)

Hey Sealie…so you’re the one living on the other side of BRK? Titusville, FL checking in. Debating about adding a little “this guy is funny” post/link to my blog in celebration of this post.

And what, pray tell, is wrong with Iowa hmmmm? Our Mulgore-esque scenery is simply the best place for a tauren to set down roots (hurr druid joke)

So yes BRK, you’ve got another Iowan over here, and don’t you forget it!
