We crushed scourge together for a while, collected loads of runes, and got RUIDFP some XP bubbles, too.

And then our xbow broke. 0/70, nothing left. Couldn’t fire it, couldn’t Volley, nada. Obviously, we needed to repair.

(Volley breaks weapons with ridiculous speed. Be ready for that if you’re a Gorilladin hunter.)

But RUIDFP, who was level 60, kept aggroing all the scourge. Gorilladin can tank a ton of them, but we’re only successful when we’re using Volley and our two-piece T5-bonus to keep Gorilladin alive.

So we did what we had to do to keep RUIDFP alive we he tra-la-la happily danced into a pack after pack of 70 elites in order to jauntily loot three silver? We broke out the S3 axe and melee’d stuff down. ‘Cause that’s the kind of warm-hearted, generous, magnanimous, and sweet-smelling hunter we are.

And now we’re being threatened with blackmail. Screenshots of BRK meleeing! Can you believe it!?

Frankly, we’re appalled. We’re outraged. We’re stunned.

We’re a little upset we didn’t think of it first and sell a t-shirt…

But mostly, we’re horribly upset at the tragic state of affairs between us and a certain freakishly-sexified orc.

First druids, now warriors. Thank Elune the squishies are all incoherent on Tuesdays, or our troubles would be overwhelming.

    Volley breaks weapons with ridiculous speed.

    I’ve noticed that… that’s why I use Multi-shot whenever it’s up.

    Nothing wrong for doing a little Melee now and again. But I would say that being our server’s only known Melee Hunter.

    Well, I can say that we have to go melee every once in a while. It’s not what we’re meant to do but hey, when we’ve been ignorant and let ourselves run out of arrows, should we give up? Hell no! We’ll keep on going alongside our pets because we’re hunters!

    Ahhhh, the truth comes out. Don’t let that Orc in Dwarf-in-Human-in-Paladin clothing (and inappropriate clothing at that!) break the will of BRK!!

    Kinnavieve says she vouches fer the “sweet-smelling” (though Goriladin could use a bath), but she didn’t see no broken crossbow so she can’t confirm nor deny that part.

    Me, I thinks the sight of a beautiful long-legged woman, all covered in a fine sheen of sweat and zombie splatter, swingin’ a big fuhggin axe were just too much fer ya, and ya hads ta get in on some of that righteous melee action.

    Ah the old broken bow, the surefire way to send a hunter to a screeching halt, forcing him or her to resort to something so…uncivilized as melee combat.

    that’s why you get a macro which lets you equip 2H, spam wingclip, drop freezing traps and .. always bring an adamantite shell machine and one spare gun, a spare bow and another box or adamantite arrow makers…. takes up room but it is a headache saver.

    You could always carry a back up bow. ;)

    I hadn’t noticed volley making my bow degrade all that quickly… Hmm, I think I should check Yans’ bow when I log in, I had her ripping through herds of clefthoofs in Nagrand yesterday, and then moved on to trying to AoE mobs on Quel’danas (ran out of time, but I think I had started to get the idea that five or six of those mana draining mobs at a time was not such a good idea after all).

    Have you noticed your DPS down today post-patch? I was doing 1k dps last night on hyjal boss fights, and i’m down around 380 today… fighting mana works and doing dailies… this seems low…

    Still using the 2:1 or 3:2 shot-rot macro?

    I seriously thinking of carting a spare gun with me now. I still have my [Precisely Calibrated Boom Stick] in the bank .. that, with Rapid Fire and some haste and I can be popping manalicious hits with AotV every 0.69 seconds!

    I wonder if every hunter has one of those truly epic lowbie weapons hidden somewhere in the bank bags. I know my axe will be at zero durability before they pry Hurricane (http://www.wowhead.com/?item=2824) from my dead, cold fingers.

    Guys just get a durability addon.There are plenty out there.Watch it and if you get halfway to broken,go fix your weapon.Simple as that.
