We made our BigRedKitty baby Tauren a few minutes ago. We joined the “Run for Ezra” guild. 145 members already, 45 online. At one in the morning.
You people amaze us.

I wish I could attend, this sounds like a lot of fun, and I’d love to pay tribute to Ezra. I just can’t make it, I’m afraid.
I just made my baby cow, got a guild invite and before I could log off I wound up inviting eight more people… the guild has 268 members right now.
I really wish I could be there for this. I work with kids like Ezra and at work is where I shall be during this event. /sigh

Just out of curiosity, why is this not being done on Ezra’s home server, and in cooperation with Ezra’s home guild?
I made a druid a couple days ago (kunukia) and yesterday brought my 70 cow hunter over. I think I will take the druid out of guild to leave space.
Don’t expect great things of my hunter, she has NEVER grouped, has crap gear, and I am not so great at PvP, and haven’t done it for almost a year. Still, she is 70.
I wish i could attend as a father of 2 and having lost 2 very close members of my family to simliar circumstances i relate to a small degree…my thoughts are with Ezra’s family…may god keep him safe in his arms as his family has through this tough time

We had one email exchange with a member of that guild, but nothing came to fruition. Time, as always, is the fly in the ointment. We wanted to have this event before WotLK arrived and we needed things to move quickly. As much as we would’ve loved to hold this on his server, we felt that without his guild’s direct cooperation, we would be seen as usurpers, not helpers.
If anybody over there feels slighted at our decision with Argent Dawn, please accept our apologies. There is no malice or selfishness in our decision.
We might need a second guild. /raised eyebrow

I started a version of my main hunter, Kafsha, over there day before yesterday. At that time the server was medium load. Last night (around 8:00) it was high load.
I made it to 11, and got the pet I had when I first was 11, The Rake (renamed Rikkar after the most rakish guy I know.
Mooo was made the ‘official’ cheer.

You couldn’t have done this on your own server? AD is an overpopulated ROLEPLAYING server.
500 members is just the guild tool display limit. There is no limit on guild membership size.
