BRK’s Running of da Bulls for Ezra: The Sacking of Stormwind.

Saturday, November 8th, 6:00pm EST/11:00pm GMT.

Argent Dawn (US)

Some basic rules:

1. Make a donation to Make a Wish, even if it’s only a dollar. That’s the entire point of this silliness, to help a sick child.

2. Be a good visitor. This is probably not your home-server, so treat like you’re a house guest. No /yelling, no bombarding global or local channels with babbling. Do not engage in rant-fests with trolls, (not Horde-trolls, but people who are trying to disrupt and cause acrimony.) Watch your language, folks, there are kids here.

3. You do not have to PvP to participate. If you just want to run a baby Tauren with us, please enjoy. But remember, if enter Stormwind, you’re automatically flagged for PvP.

4. You do not have to join the Run for Ezra guild, but you will not be invited to Bloodmoon Chosen. That’s their family, they’re just helping us out.

5. You do not have to stay in the Tauren starting area. Level, get gear, do whatever you like.

6. The Baby Tauren Army will depart the Tauren starting area at 6pm EST, 11pm GMT. You don’t have to be at the starting area if you don’t want to, but that’s when our march commences. You can meet up with us in Ratchet, STV, or even be waiting for us outside of Stormwind.

7. Events like these are like waves crashing on the beach; everybody can see it happening, everybody can participate, but nobody is really in charge. We can’t prevent people from deviating from the goals of the event, we can’t control the insanity at all. Use your morale compass to have a good time.

8. TJ has made her appearance already. If she chooses to pop in again, we’ll be shocked.

9. From our history with these events, we believe the entire thing should be done in no more than an hour. Run to Stormwind will take twenty minutes, then we’ll either get massacred due to the lack of high-end participants, or we’ll mow through the place and kill the king quickly. Either way, you can expect to be off of Argent Dawn and back on your own server pretty quickly. Don’t think this is a multi-hour event, it’s not.

10. Mrs. BRK took our keys, and our authenticator, with her to work. We are fetching them right after we post this. We won’t be on Argent Dawn until probably 3 or 4pm EST as a result. /sigh

    If Mrs. BRK has a cell phone or access to a phone while she’s out, you can just relay the code on the Authenticator via phone. I’ve done that a couple of times with the significant other when he wanted to access my account for something and I was out with the Authenticator in hand.

    Mrs. BRK probably won’t approve of being bothered for World of Warcraft stuff while she’s out wherever she is, but it’s an option that would allow you to log in quicker and not physically go out to where she may be!

    Hey I just had a thought. The guards have changed since the patch. They are all 75 and 80 elites now. City bosses are now probably level 83 bosses.

    So maybe we shouldn’t expect too many achievements being rocked today…
