Shirt-related note. As you’ve seen in the comments, some people are starting to receive their shirts. All the first-generation orders have shipped. We had a small snaff-eroonie with three shirts going out without postage, but that’s totally corrected now! /huzzah!
Some of the second-generation shirts have shipped, but the vast majority have not. We’re awaiting word from the manufacturer that they’ve shipped to us. Once that happens, we’ll get ready to mail even more shirts without postage. /double-huzzah!
Yes, there is at least one more shirt in development. No, we’re not gonna tell you what it is.
Hint: It’s not Sporebat.

Now whats wrong with sporebats hmm!?! Its got the AE nature damage AND the AE armor reduction, whats so bad about that!? Yeah, sure, its not the manliest, or ferocious, or intimidating pet ever, but ive found that to be an advantage in AV. You know, big ol dirty silithid crawlin around, first thing Alliance thinks is “OH, gotta kill that”. Alliance swarm+silithid= dead pet, and dead pet+BM hunter+Alliance= dead hunter. But, Alliance sees sporebat “oh, what a wimpy thing. wont hurt me.” until NOM NOM NOM dead alliance. therefore, on account of all sporebat hunters everywhere, I demand that you give sporebats the respect it deserves, or I shall amass an army of sporebats who shall envade Ironforge, causing mold to grow anywhere and everywhere, which over the course of several years, will deteriorate peoples health making them unable to participate in battlegrounds except for death kniggets who are already dead, and without healers, ther horde will be able to topple them like so many things that were made to be toppled. You have been warned BRK!!! BWA-HA-HA-HA-HA-etc.
Saw someone offering 1000 gold for info on the spirit beast on my server, like anybody well let you get one before they do. =)
On a side note, the next BRK T-shirt should be something along the lines of :
“Achievement: “BRK’s blog, blog, its better than bad, its good…” Succesfully made it through BRK’s spam filter!”

I ran into the spirit beast the night after release. He’s a beauty. Unfortunately no one was of level to tame him……..
so killed him out of frustration….

Ya, I was pretty happy to find that spirit beast, I found it at around 27,65 just a little north of the dead rhino bones. I finished the kill big crock quest and was running along the riverside picking flowers. I looked over as I knew I was near one of the spawn points and nearly fell out of my chair. Such a pretty pet Cant wait to level it once I hit 80. (Cant sacrifice my gorilla leveling till then) Note to anyone trying to trap. She leaps at you and circumvents the first trap unless your right on top of it.
So I just found him… and Another hunter decided it would be in his best interest to kill him for 50k experience, so he claims, instead of letting my 5 seconds left of channelling to finish and tame him.

Do you remember that hunter’ name? You should absolutely call him/her out on that! That kind of jerk should be ostracized here on BRK, the O boards, TKASomething and everywhere else. There is no room for that kind of @$$ in the brotherhood of Hunters.

@ Yvii, I imagine that since it is an Achievement and the mob drops a blue item and a bag of gold maybe thats y he killed him.
On a side note, have just hit 74 5 days after Xpac and cant wait to get to Sholozar to get this one, I havent had a cat for months!

@Woodrun, I understand the achievement and phat loots that he drops… However, I abandoned my gorilla and had already begun taming him… To top it off, he already had the achievement, and was on the same faction as I. :\
@ Spencer – That may have been me you saw, I hit the general chat with a macro offering 1000g for the spirit beasts location if I am able to tame it. I certainly don’t expect any hunters to pass up taming him, however it may stop people from killing him just to get the achievement or loot. Not many non-hunters know how sought after this rare spawn is!

got mine just now, wondering what to name him =\ my Frostaber Pridewatcher (hobbes skin) is named Frostbite, but I kind of like that one for my spirit beast >.<
After 8 hours of nonstop flying around checking all the spawn points, I finally found him around 80,79. Easy to tame, and definatly worth the time spent looking for him.

I was fortunate enough to tame this lovely lady today; I’m sure seeing BRK’s post this morning (I know, I don’t keep up with blogs the way I ought to) brought me luck!

Damit, I was searching for a few hours and someone must of got to him 2 mins before me as i got to only get the chance to see its dead corpse
I just tamed mine at 65,76
Found the spirit beast by accident a week ago…Had him in trap…was almost tamed…and an Orc hunter decided ..To shoot him in trap and then proceeded to kill him in front of me….Do I have to say How sick that made me feel?
Been about a week of constant searching…and camping…and have not seen him since..
