Been looking for this myself but then i found out it doesn’t do as much DPS as any old cat off the street, around 10% less white dmg and spirit strike does 200-300 less damage than rake =( also the spirit strike doesnt work with longevity because of the mechanics of it, it procs when it hits and again after 10 secs but with longevity he can use the ability again after 7 secs. This means it wont cast for 3 seconds and if it does it just refreshes the spirit strike so the second proc never hits. That kind of took the sheen of it for me.
Hopefully this is just a bug and will get fixed as it sucks that quite possibly the rarest, exotic and most sought after pet in the game gimps your dps if you actually want to utilise it.
Would be nice to hear what your impression’s are of the DPS though BRK.

Seriously, you got damn lucky. I wish I wasn’t leveling my Death Knight and my Hunter was a higher level (I still havent even gotten it to 71 yet..) so I could tame one of those beautys. Congrats BRK, your a lucky lucky guy.
I was logging out for the night and decided to check my regular websites before I went to bed, yours being one of them. I was excited to see that you tamed this awesome cat and noticed that it was just 20 min ago and thought to myself…hmmmm let go take a look. Boom! Right by the monkeys! Killed me once and I ran back (with my heart beating out of my chest) and he was still there! I had a chance at taming him on my server, but got griefed out of it. Hunter who didn’t like that they didn’t get it killed it to keep me from taming it.

Found mine yesterday after 4 days and even some search attempts at night. I must say that was one of the greatest moments in my wow-history. I don’t care if it does less dps then my cat, its just to awesome!

Got mine last night! Yay!
I can relate BRK….I finally got my Spirit Beast yesterday. I logged out in Sholazar Basin the previous night after doing a lap around the basin, logged back in the next day and she was right infront of me. I nearly had a heart attack. I quickly ditched the current pet I had (bye bye rhino)
layed down a trap and began to tame her, still hoping that no one would come and interrupt me. Never the less tho I got my spirit beast.
