Comments About Blog Comments, and Something Else
WP-SpamFree. Y’all hate it, we know. We’re not thrilled with it either. However, we have not found a better spam-filter for WordPress-comments at all. We do not have the time nor the inclination to start moderating comments or manually deleting spam. Therefore, this is the route we must take. We apologize, but that’s life on the digital frontier.
Referencing a previous comment is easily done using the

system. It’s much prettier than italics. There’s no rule that says you have to use blockquotes, but that’s how we roll.
And if you want your own spiffy picture next to your comment, make a Gravatar. Then when you post a comment, use the same email address as your gravatar account, and your picture will magically appear.
Now for the something else.
Today, Mrs. BRK was fired. Nice, right?
Without going into the details — ’cause we’re f-ing biased — but when you’re then #6 salesperson out of two hundred in the entire country in your industry, and sales sag for two months because people don’t have a lot of discretionary income for cosmetic surgery, and the owner has been asking you to be the office manager and the leads-developer because he doesn’t want to shell out the dough for three salaries, perhaps it’s not the salesperson’s fault sales are down. That sure sounds like a great big tall frosty glass of DUH to us.
But anyway.
If you’re in the Orlando-area and are looking for a company manager or lead sales professional with medical and other sales experience, Mrs. BRK is available. She is a graduate of the Sandler Sales Institute, has a master’s degree in psychology, has directed departments for medical offices and the American Red Cross%

former boss… /headbutt
Done.
There are better places to be and the timing of this sort of thing is never good.
Good luck and good (job) hunting Mrs BRK.
ps… take a gorilla with you. It’s been working for the rest of us while hunting.
That truly sucks! Sorry for that.
And as for the spam filter, an easy and worthwhile trick.
Select all.
Copy.
Submit.
If the spam filter craps it, just go back, paste, and submit.
Yeah, I know. Pretty High-Tech.
What a bummer for the Mrs. BRK to deal with. I think there will likely be a number more of the community seeking employment as the economy sags further, but regardless, it sucks to not have a job. Hopefully you guys will be alright for the time being though living off a NASA income.
I’ve actually been wondering if getting fired right now wouldn’t be a blessing in disguise, allowing me to start my own business… I just can’t think of trying to deal with health insurance costs on my own though.
^^ Yea, this ^^
Good luck to ya Mrk. BRK. Hope you land en even better position with a better company!
Bummer about the job loss, been there myself last year. Finally figured it was time to retire.
More time to play WOW…. Yea Right..
